I hope Banchero doesn't listen to the fan feedback. I don't want him to play for stats.

That's like back in the day. Fans always thought that Dwight should put up big offensive numbers. Dwight was a worse player when he didn't put all of his focus into defense and rebounding.

I would really like the mental process of Paolo Banchero now. He must be thinking what went wrong. The struggle he had and once he'd come out of it will be extremely valuable for a young stud like him. It is about growth.

Everyone knows he is not there yet, not even after a great season like last year. But just believe what he is doing. He already proved lots of nay sayers wrong and I wish he can prove them wrong again and again

Obviously I think Paolo can be a 20/10/4-5 assist guy. He’s got the tools but really the whole team is playing below of there individual potential right now, but even in the loss there playing together as a team. The numbers will take care of themselves, but I would like to see Paolo take the bull by the horns and be that guy that automatically get the hoop when the team needs it like T-Mac and T-Ross did. He needs to go get his, that’s why he was drafted.

I've been posting for months that we really need an assertive, no-holds-barred Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner. Sometimes, our collective board is wicked smart and thinks 5 steps ahead of how does Suggs fit with this team, or Fultz, or etc.

Man, go back to step 1. We need Paolo and Franz to show up first. Focus on them.

Why is that? Because folks that know and have played basketball can see major concern? I can appreciate playing the right way, but there has to be a confidence, dominance to a franchise’s “number one” player—he doesn’t have it… I would love him in the perspective of a third option, but we showcase him as a franchise player—he is not that… He was a volume shooter on a bad team last year—second lowest FG% by any ROY candidate ever, only behind MCW…

He is someone who needs to get his usage back up to 25% plus. Right now it's sitting at 21.0 and we need him to keep progressing and become a star. He needs to assert himself and get his shot attempts back up.

Again, I’m not a Paolo hater, I’m a hater on the fact we are forcing this perspective of him being a super star or number one player on a contending team… He is more likely the third best player on a contending team—if we don’t realize this we will mortgage our future and over pay him and possibly lose players that should be more of a focal point (Franz and Fultz)…

Paolo’s shot appears to be back to being flat again.

During Fiba, the ball release had a better loop.

It seems to me he is struggling with adjusting to the NBA ball with the shooting tweak he possibly did with Chip.

Once he figures it out, all signs points up.

Seriously? Are you watching the same first four games as everyone else? All signs point up to being a role player?

Compare his free throw pct last year and this year.

I know it’s early, but low free throw pct is a huge red flag.

Team USA mightve weared his legs out, along with the thumb injury.

There needs to be additional medical eval on Paolo. If he's playing through an injury like Suggs his rookie yr, we need to make changes to our internal team

He is 20-21. He played 6 games at WC, if he can't recover from it in 2 months... lol
