1-2 already? Amazing.

was it a good game? i missed it on the count i was spending the last 4 hours working on my internet

Was pretty good. It was 14-7 with about 6 minutes in the 1st qtr, so Colorado didn't score again until OT.

WVU's defense looked like crap.

In the short term it looks like WVU might have made a big mistake in not searching for a head coach.

That team was a mess down the stretch last night. Plus, like N4U said, the defense was amiss, and Pat White has turned into a one dimensional QB.

Devine looks to be explosive though......he's put on some beef too.

Couple of big games in the SEC this week:

#4 Florida @ Tennessee: Will likely be similar to last year's 41-17 Gator rout out of the Vols. Tennessee hasn't improved much on either end of the ball since last season, which was evident in their first week loss to UCLA. You can bet the scheduling committee at Tennessee will stop pushing for west coast season openers. Gators: 49, Vols: 24

#6 Georgia @ #10 Auburn: The home team has won this game in each of the last eight meetings, with the last four each being decided by a touchdown or less. Only downside of this is that the SEC could lose a team from the top ten, but that's a small price to pay for what will undoubtedly be an amazing game. Auburn: 21, LSU: 17

UConn pulls out the W against Baylor, 31-28.

The running game up there still looks good, the passing and defense are question marks though.

Now to smack talk: UCF over BC? Really? UCF is something like 2-40 vs BCS conferences, LMFAO. They beat NC State last year (ooooooh) and a terrible Bama team a few years back. Kudos.

They'll lose to BC.

The Big Ten pulls at some snoozers this week. Up and down, it's cupcake U vs.

Some gems:
Ball State at Indiana
Florida Atlantic at Minnesota
Ohio at Northwestern
Temple at (16) Penn State
Troy at (13) Ohio State

See, now you have your NCAA thread, and see what happens? LOL

I think that if UCF can generate some legitimate offense, they can beat BC.

BC has lost some of the coaching staff and their QB. Defensively, they look still to be good. They are big, but I think UCF may have an edge in speed. If so, they may be ready.

Let's see, UCF is 2-39 against BCS schools, the "anti-odds" would say; UCF 20 BC 17.

Stir the pot...........

Anyone see on College Gameday the one poster that said 'I came here on FEMA money."
That's really messed up though. :(

Alabama and Penn State dominated today.

Pitt narrowly escapes Iowa, so my pick didn't work out. Damn.

NC State "upsets" ECU.

Couple this victory and if they manage to beat USF next week, they could be ranked, lmao.

Still, this was a decent prediction to make, ECU was totally overrated, both VT and WVU are way down this year.

Boise State dominating the Oregon Ducks: 24-6. I hate Oregon and the overrated USC-10.

I was just reading this page and i saw N4U's post about Pitt with all this hate talk about GOL and UCF fans wanting a new coach, and Dave Wanstedt's name popped in my mind, and im remembering at the beginning of the season hearing how his job could be in jeopardy, and he has a little history in florida..... and thinking to myself please God no. It probably never would happen (thankfully) but man that would suck if indeed UCF were to look for a new coach and got Wanstedt and his .500 record curse.

sorry for this randomness

^ Wanstedt is a bad coach indeed, but he'd bring in great recruiting classes for you. I'd hire him for a couple of years and dump him for a good coach when his recruits mature, lol.

Not sure they can win it, but like Alabama, they will make a lot of noise at worst.
