Seattle not getting a team man... I'd bet my house it'll be be Vegas

2 teams are supposed to be created. Seattle could be the 2nd one
Maybe, my friend was telling me that there is some law in place in Seattle that might not work for the nba.... But that was a while ago maybe that law was ammended

Did Paolo duck out? Just curious where he was.

More like he got fouled by Steph on the dunk attempt and the refs didn’t call it. Felt like Paolo was getting an all star rookie initiation from the vets. Paolo lead all players with 9 rebs.

It’s just an all star game, no one even tried. Btw I remember T-Mac only had 2 points in his first game.

Kinda weird seeing as a lot are 1st timers there. Or maybe because PB is the youngest there?

At average every min of allstar game included 3,5 lunched threes
Brodcasting shooting practice. Pathetic

They need 1 vs 1, 8 players with $1 M prize

For Dunk Contest, 2.5 M prize

Stars will come out

For ASG Game, they either need hefty bonuses for winning the game or make the winning conference have home court in the Finals like in MLB. Nothing else will salvage it

ASG hasn't been competitive for a while. Even when I was younger I remember players not giving a **** till the 4th.

After seeing the result I'm glad I didn't watch the all star game for the 14th time in a row. What a clown show.
When was the last interesting one? The Wizards Jordan overtime game?

Until the All-star game means something, this will never be a competitive game. And their is a simple solution that only costs one person: make the conference winner of the All-star game the game-7 decider in the NBA Championship Finals.

All the sudden the players are playing for pride and the hope that their team makes the FInals.

The only person that this costs is the owner of the team that would have naturally gotten game-7. And that cost is SO large, I cannot see this change coming to fruition.

Box score thoughts:

The winner of the FG% battle won the game. And on eFG% the game was not particularly close.

As stated above: our man Banchero led all players in rebounds! And his 9 boards came in only 19 minutes (i.e. less than a single quarter of game time).

There were 289 FG attempts. Or 6 a minute. Or one every 9.97 seconds. Averaged.

Related: there were 5 FT attempts total.

There were 117 rebounds and 40 offensive rebounds, in total.

Trae Young had the smallest minutes line of the East at only 14. And Adebayo "played" 17 minutes. I guess he took "court-side" seats to mean "in-court seats".
