Huge day for the magic. If they win and the knicks and Philly lose. The magic jump to the 4th seed. Which would be wild to think about this late in the season.

We are at home against one of the worst teams in the league, they just need to take care of business. Obviously they need to avoid the self inflicted wounds( turnovers, missed free throws, offensive rebounds, etc). Also not allow they to shoot blistering hot from 3. If they do that they win.

Hoping to see our name at the 4th seed after today( atleast for a day or two lol). Go magic

Big game...what I'd really like to see is a wire to wire blowout - which is what we should be seeing from a 4-6 seed vs a team with 9 freaking wins.

What I don't want to see (second to a loss) is us requiring a heroic last minute miracle from Paolo to beat this mess of a team.

If we're going to be formidable, we need to have an offense that can work with multiple lineups, so the beatings can continue through substitutions. We already have the defense most nights. Love to see some ball movement, 6 guys in double figures...Paolo sitting out the 4th with his 22 pts and the win secured. Mo Wagner and Cole leading the blowout through the 4th and padding their stats...dare I say Jett Howard and AB playing together with Ingles, Isaac, and WCJ babysitting?

This might be the first game the Pistons are fully healthy. They may have a bigger starting lineup than us with Duren, Stewart, Ausar, Cade, and Ivey. Sasser has been big off the bench. I'm sure they will be looking at this game as a measuring stick.

It also seems like the last few times we've had 2 days off, we shot terrible.

Pistons are like 3-7 in the past 10 games so they're playing solid basketball relative to what they were earlier in the season. Two of those losses went down to the last shot too.

We need a 1st quarter knockout. Let’s not play with our food this game.

Detroit is pretty good when they're completely healthy. I don't think we've ever played them when Duren, Stewart, and Cade are all healthy. If we win, it won't be easy.

And-1

The Utah game was way too much stress. Go up 20 by the end of the first and build leads each quarter from there.

Or win by one. I am ok with that also. Just win.

Let's just take care of business.

DET is gonna be pissed they let that one get away. Duren gonna abuse and defend PB extra hard for being on sports center.

Looks like Suggs is officially the starting PG for the rest of the season, health willing.

I've been impressed with him lately. He's calmed down a lot and the speed of the game doesn't really affect him that much anymore. Enjoying his growth.

Detroit played us very tough the other night. Durens physicality presents issues for us and now they are adding Stew to the mix. Cade is really coming on as well. I'd expect them to be frisky tonight.

physicality really bothers WCJ for some reason. It's not like WCJ is a lightweight.

This starting lineup is decidedly mid. A 1.4 net rating. Swap Fultz for Harris and the lineup has a 6.7 net rating. Swap Harris for Black and it's a 1.5 net rating.

Sad we aren't getting the AB/Suggs/Franz/Paolo/WCJ SL. This has a 6.0 net rating.

The bright side is that he's one of the better finesse big defenders in the league.

Just as a side note, Duren is extremely impressive and gives most bigs issues with his physicality. As bad of press as Detroit has had this year, they actually have put together a core of guys I'd be quite happy to build around (Cade/Duren/Ausar).
