Fultz cannot play in the playoffs. This has to stop.

What reason are we playing him over Black??

If we're being honest, neither should really play in the playoffs.

I think that Black has run up against the rookie wall a little bit.

He looks a step slow and I think Coach is giving Fultz Black's minutes in hopes that Black can catch his second wind.

Fultz looks slow and heavy and not explosive.

It's crazy how many shots Fultz is jacking up and how inefficient on them he is. Last year you had to debate the eye test against box score stats. This year everything's in harmony.

i'd take my chances with black over fultz....he's hit a wall but he's not making too many mistakes other than fouling a bit too much....you got fultz calling his own number in the half-court killing ball movement and he's not been shooting well at all....he's been turning the ball over way more lately, been getting cooked on defense....he doesn't look like the same dude even from the start of this season much less last season...With black i at least know he's not going to go out of his lane, the ball isn't going to stick and he's going to show effort on the defensive end....he's also not going to pass up wide open threes when it's kicked to him only to drive in for a tougher shot.....Unless something changes and fultz starts to play better in these upcoming games, this is where i'm at right now....

Yeah at least in the 3 guard lineup Black at 6'7 is actually wing height and can guard the SF compared to Fultz.

for whatever reason it seems like mosley likes fultz and will stick with him and give him big minutes come playoff time. and it will be one of the main reasons we don't make it out of round one. black is a way better defender, and can hit an open 3. neither should be getting playoff minutes and we should have adressed this at the deadline but if you have to play one it should be AB.

I had a dream yesterday that Dick shot 0-29 FG

As for Fultz, his only bet to stay in nba pass 2025 is to start grinding on defense like Dennis Smith jr and be fine with 12-15 mpg role.
If he can't do that, his career is over.

JI is 8/13 his last 3 games. 35.4% for the season.
Suggs 40% for the season.
Paolo 36% for the season
Black 39%.
WCJ 40%.

These are decent number for what are supposed to be our weakest 3pt shooters.

Last 15 games we're 8th in 3pt%.
11th in the league at 37.3% in since Jan 1st (35 games). Vs. Worst in the league at 33.2% before Jan 1st (32 games).

We've seen a lot of improvement in 3pt% lately. We just need Cole and especially Franz to figure it out.
He's up to 361. 50/36/71

Don't think anything points to this, his minutes this entire season have been dropping tbh, and gone from starter to minimal bench piece. I think he thinks AB is one year away though. Playoff rotation will probably be:

Paolo
Franz
Suggs
Harris
WCJ
Isaac
Cole
Moe
Ingles

With spot minutes depending on matchups. I can see Moe/Ingles/Cole being replaced in certain matchups with AB/Goga/Fultz.

Agree…call it an investment. If we were really going for it, like you said, we would have made a deal…so play the kid if he’s the future. He’s certainly not the present. No one is,so look to the future. No reason to feed Fultz at this point, imo.

Solid win in the end, our consistency in beating the teams we are supposed to has been really impressive this year. Isaac with another really impressive game. Suggs and Franz were also really good.

But please, no more three guard lineups with Fultz and Cole playing together, this is what killed our lead in the first half and made this game closer than it should have been.

And speaking of Fultz, I continue to be baffled why is he even playing when by design he is not the ballhandler on offense 90% of the time and his scoring efficiency continues to be abysmal. He has had a total of 6 games all season his scoring effiency was above league average all season. He is averaging only 1.4 assists since the All-Star break. And it's not like he is locking down opponents on defence either.

I'm not sure how Foxsports calculates their net rating, but Fultz is -13.6 this season.

Fultz is unplayable. Especially in 3 guard lineups….

He should never be on the floor with Paolo
He should never be on the floor with Cole
He should never be on the floor.

So many times he had the ball passed to him in this game and he had to take 2-3 dribbles inside to shoot instead of wide open shots. So many runs given up when he’s on the floor for extended minutes. This is madness and has to stop.

I cant remember the last time the Magic made it into the NBA top 10 plays of the night. Surprisingly they had two plays last night.

Would be better if Raptors were full strength. Always fun to read how Raptors funs rationalize that Barnes is the best player in the world after every loss.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

I really like their passion for their team.

I like to go over there and post. They want to talk about how much better Barnes is than Wagner and Suggs, I don't argue, just say that I am happy how things turned out.

Wagner and Suggs fit really well with Paolo and in the end, Barnes does not have the footspeed or quickness to play the 3, which means he is basically a poor man's Paolo. Barnes has the skills, but not the size.

I don't tell them that out of respect for their board, but it is true nonetheless.
