Suggs and Banchero made their 3-point shooting leap. Franz made an impossibly difficult-to-anticipate nosedive.

Franz turning into Fultz is killing an already anemic offense.

Watching the end of the 3rd again and honestly that was the difference in the game, it’s 77-76 with just over a minute left and then end of quarter we are down 8. Leonard hits a contested 3, then Cole takes a terrible shot and leads to a semi fast break for an open 3 of a Leonard pass. Paolo gets fouled and goes 1 of 2. Then Paolo fouls Leonard with 2 secs left, he makes 2 free throws. 8-1 run that last minute. That’s just a veteran team and mostly MVP player taking advantage of a young Magic team to close the quarter. Hope Paolo took good notes.

Yeah, Clippers are stacked with superstar talent. Healthy they are a problem.

3 veteran teams with a couple of NBA champions amongst them, with all 3 games being winnable and 2 of those games going down to the wire.

It’s just a part of the story - one of many bumps in the road the team will have to learn to overcome in the future. Disappointing, of course, but in the grand scheme we’ve still got a hot young team that has proven they can surprise any team on any given night.

Give the young guys time to cook and rise, which includes Paolo and Franz even though they’re advanced and elite. Season with veterans. Upgrade where possible but preserve chemistry and team culture.

Couldn't listen to the game like I normally could, but I saw the ending play-by-play and that it went down to the wire.

I get it, I want us to win 50. This lose sucked big time in that regard.

Clippers have championship aspiration hopes. Yet we held them to 100. They do not lack offensive firepower and yet even though we lost we made the game competitive.

I get that people love to call us paper tigers even though a good portion of our .500 loses came when we went through the injury bug. Either way, even if we do lose like tonight. Paolo is in year 2, Franz/Suggs in year 3 and we have two rookies behind them that we aren't playing, future draft picks, and some cap space to fill out the roster with players with more availability.

I really can't be upset at all by this 3 game losing streak.
