Just thought I would point out that the over/under for this game was 192. Total ended up being 190. Makes you wonder...

Would like to say that you guys came up on the short end tonight most definately. Unfortunately it happens for and against all teams throughout a season. As a Cav fan Im still salty over the way the Cavs/Magic game ended earlier this year, but what can you do? There is no vendetta out against the Magic guys. Just an unfortunate part of the game that you have to live with in ANY sport. So it sucks for you guys tonight, but I think we've all seen our team get the shaft.

The refs aren't conspiring against us, they're just complete dumbasses. They make bad calls because they don't know how to do their job. Stop giving them credit for something they aren't capable of planning.

It's not a conspiracy. If it was, the calls would be going in FAVOR of the Magic.......soon to be the new media darlings with the poster boy.

The officiating just reeks sometimes. (With the exception of Doneghy).

There wasn't even a call by the refs on the floor. Are they allowed to do that?

There's a LOT of things that seem very shady here. What was the incident with the pool reporter?

A violation of league policy. There is no valid reason for them to not be at least fined for this.

Refs suck overall

so I don't really complain to much about them.

Because it works out for us sometimes, and it dosen't work out for us. People from other boards come here and complain when they lose and it's about the refs. But sometimes do the same. So when it comes about it full circle. it pulls the same.

Well, the refs really proved me wrong last night...
Those replica jerseys must be popular between NBA officials.

It just really hurts when consecutive games are literally snatched from you.....and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it.

NBA: Business first, integrity 2nd. Or 3rd, or 4th, or 47th...

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

I don't like blaming refs as a sole reason for a loss but the whole star treatment is garbage. I would be perfectly fine without Dwight getting it if Kobe/Lebron/Wade didn't get it but there is a substantial bias in this league towards perimeter players now and I hate it.

I am not going to say we deserved to beat the rockets or nets but come on...Hedo was mugged yet vs the rockets Yao gets a call on a fade away which fouls Dwight out, Foyle seems to get the tip in off but the refs didn't even make a call on the floor, if they had ruled it was no good I could understand but they didn't.

The one thing i really hate besides flopping is when a defender sticks his arms up, the guy attempting the shot jumps into him and it's a foul on the defensive player. It's like the NBA is saying don't even try to play D anymore.

I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

Disgusting. Two games in a row, two incorrect calls in the final seconds, both costing the Magic a chance to win.

Fans can go back and forth all night about superstar calls and etc, but this is just two plain obvious bad calls. The referring in the NBA is by far the worst part of the game today. It just makes me not even want to be an NBA fan anymore

Well, if the Refs are hard now, perhaps they will soften up i the future. A give-back call in the future?!?!

Nah....we're talking the Magic here, not the Lakers, Celtics, Spurs, Pistons, Cavaliers, Nets, Rockets or Suns.

Yeah, no chance. There's a better chance we have a 3rd consecutive game stolen from us.

Cause we're the one organization who's just going to set back and take it.

I'm very disappointed with the lack of rage displayed by the Magic up to this point.

The refs have never done that with us. They usually begin a contest to make a worse call in the next game... although after stealing a potential win from us, that might be pretty difficult to top.

Basketball officiating at every level is inconsistent.

Complaints are the norm whether justified or not.

For the record, Stu Jackson said the call was "correct".........ummm, OK.
