talent wise, the Lakers obviously. But the trade fit for both teams, even though Cook was the main part of the trade and he's not playing, Mo Evans is playing pretty well and doing better than Ariza was here (cause he can shoot the ball).

still hard to tell, ariza was hardly in our rotation, evans gets solid minutes. i guess we would have to say evans just because he is getting solid playing time.

There was an article saying Ariza has structural foot problems and he will have a pretty bad injury in the future. Like other people said, Ariza wasn't able to get in our rotation. Regardless, Lakers got the better deal.

I thought the trade worked out well for both squads... I love Ariza's athleticism and PJ is actually giving him minutes... Cookie is one dimensional but Mo has ALLOT of heart, don't sleep on him... I personally think he should start over Bogans...

There was an article saying Ariza has structural foot problems and he will have a pretty bad injury in the future. Like other people said, Ariza wasn't able to get in our rotation. Regardless, Lakers got the better deal.

Where did you see that? I scan the Internet every day looking for NBA stories, and I didn't see that. I'd say that the reckless way he plays, Ariza is at risk for getting injured on a regular basis, but I've never heard that he has any physical problems.

However, for me, I've seen Ariza make some difference in some Lakers games and even get some starts. He fits nicely in their athletic, long-bodied rotation. I've barely seen Brian Cook take the court in Orlando and when he has, he mostly has been firing up and missing 3-pointers. Mo Evans has contributed defensively mostly. I have hope for him still being able to make a difference because I have seen him do so on a regular basis on some of the other teams he has been on.

The Magic were going to lose Ariza for nothing. As such, a trade was going to happen. The only issue from an Orlando position is if this was the best trade they could have gotten.

Some people on here are still in denial. We lost this trade. It wasn't a definite thing that we would lose Ariza for nothing in the off season.

Also, just because Otis made up his mind to that he was going to trade Ariza doesn't mean he couldn't send him out for a better package either. Evans doesn't equal Ariza. Cook is a 10-12th player on any decent roster.

The best way to tell who won this trade is to check the General board. I guarantee it will be almost unanimous that other team's fans believe we lost this trade.

The Magic wanted another shooter to stretch the defense, so it took on the Lakers' Brian Cook, no fan of Phil Jackson, and gave up Trevor Ariza, who, despite being only 22, is a physical wreck waiting to happen. The whispers out of Orlando are that the ex-Knick has structural foot problems that will eventually catch up with him.

If its just because of the pop he heard in preseson, why hasn't it happened yet? really. Ariza, even now, the way Ariza is playing, compared to what we got, Ariza looks better than these 2. Evans doesn't think.

Lakers did.

I don't even like Evans as much as I did when he got here. He shoots too much. And he isn't very good at shooting either. I'm still hoping Cook will fit in later on.
