I wouldn't be mad at it since he has the blue chip pedigree and actually had decent stats if you're willing to accept that he was a freshman on a bad team. 54% from 2FG is elite for a guard. Almost .500 FTr is also elite. 2.8 STL% is very intriguing. Was 77% from FT in HS. So he has shown he can hit them at a decent clip. Built like a tank.

I'd say he's not terribly explosive, which is concerning.

I could definitely talk myself into it if we did it, but there's something I don't like about him and I need to just watch more to figure it out.

Shot looks kind of like Cam Payne. Great scoring stats but the other stats aren't impressive. Plus he'll be a 24-year-old rookie. I'm wary.

I like Tristan da Silva a lot. I like him in the Batum role. He's probably the best player in this class to fill that role, from what I can see.

Looks great but rebounding numbers are a red flag. We *need* a great rebounder at PF next to Jo. Maybe Tristan would fit better at SF.

I'd think he's a very solid role player in the NBA. His STL% and BLK% have always been good as a wing. Was really a lock down defender before transferring so he could take on more of a scoring load. Definitely looks like he has some dog in him.

I really think Carrington is the sleeping giant of this draft. I wish he wasn't so atrocious at generating steals though. Offensively, he looks like a big time player.

Circling back to Jaylon Tyson, looking at his ancillary traits like rebounding and passing make him even more attractive a prospect.

I have Shannon and Ware as two guys on top of my list at 16th.

If the league is gonna allow this much physicality, I dont mind taking a shot on Zach Edey with 16th overall.

You guys don't think Shannon's shot takes too long to get off?

Been doing some YouTube highlight scouting, and Dalton Knecht looks awesome. An idealized version of that archetype would be a perfect 3rd scorer to put on the floor with Embiid and Maxey.

Unfortunately he doesn't seem in their range based on mock drafts.

Tyson and Knecht are the only guys there speaking to me.

God, if Bono Klintman were 19 years old, I’d say he’s an obvious choice with his mix of size and shooting. Seems comfortable taking his guy one on one and drawing fouls. It’s hard to project when he’s 21 years old. Still needs weight and to work on fundamentals, but the raw tools are there. If we were in the 20s, he’d def be on my list.

Not the quickest release. But the timing of the release is OK and the release point is high. And he also uses his leg to create space.

At 16, barring guys like Castle and Knecht have already been sniped, Kel'el Ware feels like absurd value for that draft slot.

Not a fan of GLeague guys, but Tyler Smith is worth taking a look. Length, deflections, scoring and shooting numbers. He just doesnt play winning basketball, possibly because of how the game is played in the Gleague.

Are all high quality picks at 16th IMO

Bub Carrington is another one. Pair him next to Maxey. Also, is there any way Jakobe Walter falls? Walter or Knecht I would trade up for. I also like Tristan De Silva. I have a feeling this will be a "need/fit" draft pick and that to me screams power forward.

If PG is a position we're looking at, I'm starting to warm up to Isaiah Collier.

He has flaws, but he presents the youth/size/scoring that is often attached to future stars.

I'm still not 100% sold on going PG, though. Because I do think there is 2nd round value at that position.
