Just watched the game...That's all I can say. You get Isaiah Hartentstein in foul trouble at the start of the 3rd and can't capitalize that's a problem...

Sixers will win game 5 and get everyone's hope up again. Never thought they were going to win this series. Embiid is a shell of himself and the rest of the roster is made up of try-hards and overachieving old guys or bench guys. This team wasn't that great and their regular season record wasn't sustainable. Yes, they win this series if Embiid is 100% healthy, but he's not(and never is) and even if they won this series, they are not good enough to go to the Finals. Maybe they could go to the ECF but only because Giannis is hurt.

Everyone here knows what... or rather I should say who the problem is, but for some reason a lot of people are still afraid to fully get on board with saying it. I suspect once that problem gives a 34 year old declining Paul George a max contract this summer, then people will finally be on board fully.

Yeah it's evident at this point we will never win anything with this dude, heck forget about winning, getting past 2nd round wouldn't hurt!

Is it crazy to suggest they want to lose this series?

I mean, playing that loser 33 minutes in a must have playoff game when everybody knows he’s gone and he’s checked out?

If Tobias even sniffs the court Game 5, I have no other choice than to assume they have thrown this series.

Biid played the entire second half because yet again we lost the game once he sat....this comes after he scored 50 to win game 3....and after him getting us back in THIS one for his ft line parade in the 3rd

yet here comes the clown.

This is Morey fault for not strengthening the bench enough

He did technically strengthen the bench, but the injury to Melton messed everything up. Hield has shown nothing since being traded here and no way a 38 year old Lowry should be starting at this point in his career.

He gets a D+ from me. Bringing in small guards that have to play next to another 6ft guard in Maxey. Hield was a Bust and he didn't address the rebounding issues that we have had all season.

just once I'd love to be able to talk about losses without it being character studies of dudes we don't **** know lol.

That WIP level discourse is the worst IMO.

This game was lost on a few decisions that we tough to make and we simply chose the wrong ones. Needed to steal some rest for Biid to start the 4th...I would have went small with Tobias and Batum. I also think we began to attempt to force the ball to Biid too much down the stretch and it took too long to get into sets...which is a constant issue. I also don't like how we gave Brunson more space to get to his shot, we were playing up much closer in games 1-2 but then again that led to other guys being in rhythm more.

See there is more to it than "this guy is a bitch ass pussy".... but do you I guess

Oubre is our 3rd best player, please think about that for a moment and then come back at me.

Nick Nurse, on Joel Embiid playing the entire 2nd half: "He was feeling good and wanted to go. All these games are must win and we didn't have a good stretch when he was out in the first half."

Two cakewalks to the ECF floundered.

Anyways, Tobias Harris' last game in a 76ers uniform is on Tuesday.

Could you imagine any other career where a guy like Tobias was making double or triple the salary of other guys and performing the way he does. It would destroy any sense of chemistry and be unacceptable. This team with get a breath of fresh air when he’s done.

That late play Embiid had sums it up all about him, he had a wide open midrange shot, very comfortable to make, he decided to pass up that shot, drive to the rim and try to draw a foul. Epic choking from Embiid in this 4th quarter, in home court, in front of your fans, showing dat terrible leadership and loser vibes.

Thank god. A $40m/yr boat anchor strangling over half a decade of Joel Embiid's prime. This ownership should be shot into the sun for their crimes.

Reminder that Elton Brand (paid Tobias Harris a max contract) is still on the payroll making decisions for this team. Tbis all starts from the top and our front office is held to no performance standards.

This offseason is everything for the Process era. Not sure what the exact solutions are but I think we'll know where this franchise is headed by August.
2023-2024 Philadelphia 76ers:

Lowry/Payne/Downtin
Maxey/Melton/Hield
Oubre/Batum/Council
Harris/Covington/Martin
Embiid/Reed/Bamba

It was OK for me. He’s trying to get an and1.

What’s not OK are not having lift to grab Rebs. Its game 1 all over again.

This post from the person who made a thread titled

"Negadelphian Nancy Thread of Getting the dark thoughts out into the world."

While we were coming off of an 8 game winning streak; and in said thread where you said we'd lose to the Heat in the play-in?

Get off the grandstand.

Embiid has never played an entire half in his entire career, except today
