There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

About Joe maybe he had to get traded to realize the NBA is no joke and put in the time necessary to become a better player. Or maybe Doc just sucks at evaluating talent.
My money is on the latter. There is a lot of precedent there.

Gafford and Lively combined for 22 points and 22 rebounds in their C platoon last night.

These playoffs are showing just how critical shot making is. Maxey and an unreliable Joel aren’t enough.
always a jump shot away.

I don't get the 'controversy' here. This was clearly a foul, as the ball had never left his hand.

Anybody remember the game TJ was pulling out for us against the Celtics, except Brett decided to pull him out?
(So glad for him that he’s gotten his opportunity with Indiana.)

God I hope the Knicks lose, but i do have to say if we were down by 20, our crowd wouldn't be like this at all.
Quiet or booing or both, definitely not this obscenely loud and supportive lol.

If it's like this going into the 4th the crowd and posters will be saying things like "Welp. At least we are in NYC and can go do something interesting after this game is over and not be in Indianapolis" with full copium hits.
But I fully expect the 'rubber banding' officiating to kick in hard to make it a game.

The key to exposing NY's defense was drive and dish, drive and dish.
Meanwhile, we chose to triple down on the snail's pace, dump to Embiid 5 feet outside the paint possession after possession. Nothing really changed scheme wise 3 coaches after the fact. I'm not even a trade Embiid guy, but clearly the problem strategy wise has been staring us in the face for half a decade.

So much for top alpha dog Brunson leading his team out of the second round. Can't wait for the excuses from some on this board if they lose. Mind you, we all know about Embiid's playoff history but the fact that some will continue to bash him for coming up small in the playoffs while making excuses for Brunson is hypocritical af.

Brunson fractured hand.
Feel sorry and bad for Brunson the man, still don't feel bad for the Knicks or especially their fans.

I was pleased with Embiid's performance overall this past playoff exit, especially considering the injury and bell's palsy, but you can't throw Brunson under the bus in a similar vein yet. He's been very good in only two playoff runs with NY as a top option. It would be extremely biased to compare the two and say Brunson deserves similar criticism.

Re: NBA Playoffs Thread
Honestly Ben Sheppard logging this many minutes as a late first rookie has been pretty impressive to me. Not going to score a lot, but he's bringing a ton of hustle, rebounding and POA defending on the perimeter.
Really fun to watch. Carlisle is one of the best.
Another reason to trust the process and select at 16.

best thing about Knicks losing (if they do) is them also not getting out of the 2nd round in 24 years lol

Re: NBA Playoffs Thread
Thibodeau ran another team into the infirmary. That dude is terrible. No idea why people think he's a good coach. If he could find a way to play a player more minutes than exist within a game, he'd do it.
Don't want to hear the injury excuse either. The Sixers never get it when their MVP player plays every playoffs on one leg, the Knicks don't get it here.

Re: NBA Playoffs Thread
they also lost half of their team to injury due to Thibs insanity. The Pacers just have enough dudes to outlast them. Their entire starting lineup came to play and TJ and Jackson came to play off the bench.
But no I am sure it was actually Haliburton yelling that motivated all of that tho

I don't understand why people are so surprised the Knicks are breaking down.
Thibs literally played 6 guys for like 40+ minutes with one day of rest.

We would have moonwalked to the Eastern Conference finals with a healthy Melton. Smh at the injury luck.
