Gonna lose this one but we're better than the Knicks. Just need to not make as many dumb plays and hope guys like McBride don't go off. Brunson's gonna get his but we can weather that.

Very winnable series, we had alot of mistakes in this one. Have to guard those wide open 3s, and we seem to have several guys who can guard Brunson. We can get this series, they are definitely not 2 seed good.

Sixers played dumb entering the 4th.

They only hit 3s. They didn't rebound well, and they didn't rotate well. The offense was a joke.

They had no idea what to do and just fed it to Joel. If Tobias isn't trying to take advantage of matchups... He should be replaced with a real spacer. Run the 2 man game for Tyrese to score.


I've given credit to Morey.... But, I can never understand why Reed is even on this roster. -21 in 11 minutes. Even with that said, they can't get out rebounded like that again. They have to go double big.

We're not gonna make a deep run with 60% Embiid but we really should be able to handle this series. We were ridiculous with bad fouls and lazy TOs and rebounds, we had that embarrassing little collapse after Embiid's first exit and no one played particularly well. And even then they won because they hit like 6 straight shots down the stretch that were all 50/50 or worse-type things.

Not trying to be complacent, just loks alright to me. Even with half-Jo.

We got smashed in the boards, but it's expected. Embiid has no lift, we were bad at rebounding when he was healthy so why would it improve? I think Nurse needs to think about adjusting to giving Reed or Martin some minutes while Joel is on the floor. Neither are a liability on the defensive end so it might work in spot minutes. This was a tough loss, the injury was scary of course.who knows what's gonna happen. On to game two. Maybe we can steal one before going home.

And the strategy was to force Hart to score, he scored late and we lost, but the reason we were in the game late was that Hart was useless before the 4th. So it's a give and take.

Maxey played great defense on Brunson too, which could be an x factor.

Thibs is also gonna cost the Knicks games at some point, his insistence on playing the starters when Robinson, Bog and McBride were better was what brought us back on the third

We need more bench scoring too. Sadly we depend too much on Batum n that department.

No one has defended Embiid more than I have. Last year when everyone was ripping the guy and calling him a choking loser, I said he was playing with a torn LCL in his knee and there's no way he was going to be 100%. The year before I defended him when people called him the same thing and said it's hard to play well when you have a torn ligament in your shooting hand and a broken face.

But ESPN reported that Embiid's knee is structurally sound, it's just "sore." In the Bucks title year, Giannis fell awkwardly on his knee, it buckled inwards, he had a deep bone bruise in his knee. He came back, dominated, and the Bucks made a Finals run.

Embiid needs to come out like gangbusters the rest of this series. Ice it, heat treatment, numb it, rehab it, pop painkillers. Whatever you gotta do. As a guy who's defended him every year when everyone trashed him, it can't be an excuse this year. Suck it up and play through it and play well. Change the narrative on your career.
