Eh, yes and no. The Pacers had 73 points at the freaking half, and that's without Haliberton. And it's not as if that was just Siakam; it was all of their starting five plus Toppin. Yeah, we didn't have Tobi or Melton, but we had Embiid, Maxey, Oubre, and Batum starting, with Biid and Maxey scoring a lot and Batum having a decent first half, and were still getting absolutely roasted by the Pacers' Tyrese-less offense. To me that's worrisome.

Turrible defensive effort until the end of the bench in the 4th. Never ending transition layups. Hope some of the guys are back next game or I see more of the same.

Knicks are good. Wouldn’t mind seeing Boston have to deal with them in the 2nd round.

I love what RCIV gave us tonight. Knew a loss was coming, but I'm damn proud of that kid. He fought his ass off with that opportunity and I hope he gets more moving forward.

Kelly Oubre has generally getting back to his old form which is not good. Seems like he's just a justified min contract veteran.

Scheduled loss. 31pts in 31 mins. Cool

Most of us knew that the Kelly Oubre love fest would only last so long. He's fun, I'll give him that, but there's nothing long-term to speak of here. The idea of locking him into some long-term deal was never a good one. We knew he would eventually channel his inner Nick Young for us and he didn't disappoint. If we end up having to rely on him in a playoff series, he's going to lose us a playoff game. That's something you can count on from him. I think there may be more to see from Ricky Council as the season progresses. I like Terquavian Smith, and I like Jaden Springer despite his limitations, but if any of our younger guys are actual NBA players, it's Council. He's got the most potential to be a 2-way player for us. Smith looks like instant offense off the bench for me, but he's a sieve on defense. Springer still hasn't learned how to shoot but there's still hope for him. Are all three future Sixers? I think that's aiming high, but Council to me is.
We might be in trouble at the wing position after all. Covington can't be counted on, Oubre is starting to show his true colors, Batum is an old man. Do we get desperate enough to where Council starts to see minutes at the 3? We might be in trouble if that's the case, but right now I'm excited about Council, but also concerned that he may end up having to be relied upon if we don't sort this out. I know injuries bit us tonight, but the wing position (3&D) isn't as solidified as it looked to be back when we played Boston earlier in the season.

Also, not sure why we'd even consider moving KJ Martin right now. If the guys ahead of him are suddenly going to dip out and start playing like crap or just get injured, we should probably hold onto him.

Dorian Finney-Smith
Royce O'neal
Cody Martin
Jerami Grant if we want to get crazy
Bruce Brown

These guys are all available if we want to overpay.

Nurse keeps starting Oubre. That is not the place where he is optimized. Bench gunner is what he should be and nothing more.

I see that Morey told Nurse to showcase Martin tonight as well.
