With Bucks firing Griffin, Rivers is the favorite to replace him.

So does Dame or Giannis get labeled as a coach killer?

95% of the decent coaching under Doc was performed by his assistants, while he screwed up the in game portion that he couldn’t delegate. If CEO Coach Rivers gets hired he will be even more exposed than he was here without his usual cadre of assistant coaches.

Please make it happen.

How on earth do you look at that resume and conclude "this is the guy to get us over the top"?

This could be huge for us. Imagine matching up with Doc in round 2.

Yeah not sure how he’s gonna deal with that. Joerger is just a consultant to the Cavs so maybe he can hire him again?

Either way it seems like it would be a lot of work to get your system installed in the middle of the season, which doesn’t sound like Doc.

Can the Celtics hire this clown instead. Please.

Doc to Milwaukee would be a blessing. We’d actually have a coaching advantage against Boston & Milwaukee in a playoff series which is a huge improvement for us.

Doc coaching the Bucks is a best case scenario for us. Now I wonder if we could convince the Celtics to hire Eddie Jordan...

You mean having one player iso while the other four just stand around? They could probably figure that out in a few weeks.

(LOL) Glen Rivers is a serious candidate to replace Adrian Griffin

Post#838 » by IAMZOOTED2 » Wed Jan 24, 2024 1:28 am

How lucky would the Sixers be if the Bucks hire bloody Glen Rivers as their head coach to replace Adrian Griffin??

This is the Sixers year. CALLING IT NOW.

Real talk tho, could Rivers cause the Bucks to fumble the bag in the playoffs? And should Nurse and the team fight to see the Bucks (rather than the Celtics in the 2nd round of the playoffs?)

It looks like he was an unofficial consultant for Griffin since December lol

Unbeliebalbe.

Anyone considering hiring Doc Rivers needs to listen to the Embiid Maxey's podcast. Seems he has no idea about basketball.
