Been here since 2005. Experienced the ending years of AI on this board. The trade for CWebb where everyone thought he finally found his partner. The hope of Iggy and Evan Turner. Philly Max Elton Brand, the Andrew Bynum saga.

I was a huge fan of Hinkie and the process. From Jo, to Nerlens, Okafor to Ben. Fultz to the Fultz saga.

Getting Jimmy and the bounce, that ended an era that was too short, for a team that was probably as close as it was going to get a championship.

Now once again we have an older player, but he was an MVP who is arguably considered the greatest scorer of all time who may have 2-3 years left of near elite production. This is our time, and being able to do it with my Sixers board brothers is oh so sweet. I'm sure there will be more bumps along the way (predicting an end to Doc this season if we don't win the chip), but I think this is our best chance.

Love this board, and here's to another 16 years.

Agree Kobble. This place is a sanctuary for 76ers and all other NBA related discussion. Can't believe I've been here for a decade after not having a bball forum home for a bit. From 2003-2010 I spent most of my time on NBAwire and JustBBall, anyone remember those?

We have real, knowledgeable fans here, whereas the Sixers subreddit is a lot of fairweather casuals. I was crucified, downvoted into oblivion on r/Sixers for critiquing Simmons the past 3 years. Ben was just "always a jumpshot away". Then we saw the wind blow in a different direction during the Hawks series and they all now pretend like Ben sucked since he was drafted. Don't get me started on Twitter, Instagram, etc.

Anyway, since Hinkie was hired in 2013, we've experienced more drama than most teams see over the course of 50 years. It's been an emotional rollercoaster, but it's also a hell of a time going through it with the good people here.

I’m just so happy that in a moment where I share my love feelings to all of you I had a friend of Marc Jackson near me drinking German beer.

I was on nbawire alot. It was good, but this board has always had the most knowledgeable fans imo. And some absolute dandies over the years.

Jem gave me his online league pass login in 06 because it came free with the cable version and he didn't use it.
