No need to sign a near dead tall guy after the trade deadline, I guess we can call that a big step up from previous years. He has entertained me in a few games, let’s see if Nurse can work some magic.

It's a low-risk/high-reward signing and that's really all you can ask for this particular offseason. Bamba can hit threes, run the floor, block shots, and rebound. I'm not expecting too much out of him, but I like the dart throw by Morey right here. Maybe Nurse can get something out of him? The fact that he's a stretch big is intriguing enough.

I guess Embiid will have fun dunking on him in practice like he did during Bamba's pre-draft workout. But for real, good back-up signing.

Solid low risk signing. I hope they play him some.

Such a banger too. One great reason to still play 2K19.

Not a bad signing. Has an interesting package of skills and most adjusted plus minus/impact stats don't hate him.

The only bad thing about this signing (and I hope I'm wrong but I doubt it) is that it likely spells the end of B-Ball Paul's tenure in Philly. In a perfect world, he would develop a consistent jumper and become our starting 4 but I don't think he's there yet at least to the point of Morey feeling that he warrants a new deal.

Apparently they still want to resign Reed too. Mamba is Joel’s back-up, Reed is a 4. They could work together too imo, as an athletic and interswitchable front court.

I would not let Paul Reed go before our new head coach has tried to learn him some stuff

Can he be our version of Chris Boucher?

Agree. But playing an active, athletic big at the 4, at least trying him out there, was a bridge too far for Doc.

I also don’t think this has anything to do with Reid since the signing ideally pushes Reid to PF where he probably belongs at 6’9ish? I’m hoping nurse can bring some siakim to Reid!? Or atleast make the embid and bamba on the floor together a real thing!!!! I truly believe that’s a duo that if coached up right and bamba really locks in because he’s playing with another guy from Africa who happens to be a superstar in embid. I love bamba game it stretches way out to the 3 point line and he’s a legit 7ft guy so the potential on defense is also there. Guard’s getting by and having to face two 7footers in the paint with great athleticism is a scary sight for other teams! Good luck getting something off clean and not severely contested if not blocked lol

I wanted him last year. He solves a bunch of problems for us.

Problem is this team has much bigger issues than 2nd C right now so it's hard to excited about.
