Maxey last two plays is what I want to see more of

Quick first step pass the bigger defender and if there's rim protection a quick rise up into his shot.

In and out dribble drive into the pain to collapse the defense and kick out to the 3.

Everyone has been a traffic cone so far. Batum is also slow footed, Morris is Morris and Oubre looks lost. Melton and Maxey are midgets that players just shoot over like they aren't there.
Also Reed provided no resistance at the rim.

Hopefully they sharpen up because the Hawks going to play like they have nothing to loose and I'm sure guys are happy to get more touches without Trae.

less ball movement and more stagnant PNR
less chaos on defense leading to fast breaks.
not pushing the pace at all actually.

he's not a POA defender at this stage...not sure why Nurse is using him as one

Once again, our lack of backcourt size is killing us. Among Maxey, Melton and Beverley, we have to have the shortest average backcourt that regularly plays in the NBA or are close at very least.
