With Embiid out for likely the rest of the road trip, Maxey and company have to continue the momentum after the win vs. the Magic. As long as we win the battle of the boards, I like our chances.

here's another no **** sherlock statement from me.

Joel Embiid is very important to our success.

...and that might be the issue lol. He is an incredible baskteball player. Top 10 at minimum but sadly too often he has a quarter to a game worth of poopy butt mode and due to said importance...its game over. Tatum, who also has poopy butt mode halfs (I blame Drew Hanlen lol) but has other teammates who can keep the team afloat long enough for him to get out of said poopy butt.

We need Maxey to take that next step in ways the don't require the big fella. This was the idea of Harden but he has his own demons to overcome lol.
so yeah in a weird way BIid being the front runner for MVP may not actually be a good thing?

idk...i am sick and bored on a friday night so ignore me lol

Maxey is forcing too much. This is a winnable game but it needs to be more then Maxey.

WHy wouldnt you just let Fred VanVleet try to finish? He is one of the worst guards in the league at it. Instead they bail him out and give him a passing lane. He is tiny and not athletic. I think he is shooting sub 40% overall and thats with a 3pt percentage about 40%.

I know Marcus Morris is a tough Philly guy (or so he thinks he is), and it's great to finally get him in a Sixers jersey, but I wouldn't hesitate to trade him for a player who could play defense and rebound the basketball.

I dont know what team they are showcasing him for but hopefully that team sees value in him or his expiring
