Kind of to start getting worried about Maxey's shot.

Variance and all, but it has been bad (for his standard) for like 3 weeks now

On a positive note, if Embiid misses 8 more games during the season, the whole MVP conversation will be moot.

Celtics are so stacked. what a luxury to have reliable scorers that step up if others have a tough night. I don't see how anyone beats that team in 7 games

Their big men are old or injury risks

Jrue being semi washed is also something to look out for

But on paper yeah

They still have pieces to sure up their front court depth and they win every trade somehow.

Not watching but I see that Lauri is having quite a game vs. us. I guess we're gonna hear the "we gotta get him at all costs no matter how badly Ainge fleeces us" crowd coming out any second now.

I mean he is the exact player we need.

Yes, but his GM is a guy who will want multiple unprotected firsts for him. I'm not even sure if we have the assets as it is.

I'd say it's worth it.

No one better coming during free agency.

He has a great contract, is young, fits our timeline, will be 20-22 ppg with 8 rebounds and is a great 3 point shooter.

He is the anti tobias.

What are we saving those picks for?

Pascal?, LeBron (lol no thanks, don't need that drama), Paul George (old, and constantly injured). Kawhi (same deal)...

Only other players we can get are Mikal and Jerami grant.

IMO this is the best move. We got all those picks to use in a trade. Time to use them. This team isn't going anywhere without a legit 3rd scorer. Every contender has one.

Yeah, I really don't think we can get him just cause of Ainge alone. He's an all-star, so he will want a king's ransom.

I don't think we have enough for Ainge even if we make everyone on the team available except Maxey and Jojo of course.

I just fear that when dealing with Ainge, we'll end up doing a similar deal that the Wolves did when trading for Gobert. Probably even worse given that Lauri is a much better player in today's NBA.

33 days left for the fraud to fix this. Would be ideal if he didn't wait until the last minute.

I do agree that the lack of trade value could be the limiting factor especially if a team like OKC makes a run at him, but you definitely have to try.

1000% Morey saw this game, and was dreaming about the fit of Lauri on this team.

teams not good.

got masked by playing bad teams and nuclear shooting from Maxey and Biid.

I'm all for waiting until the last minute as long as the right deal is made. It might cost us a few spots in the playoff seeding, but who cares?
