I've said many times on this board that Springer is the next Zhaire Smith - just a terrible pick with no NBA future.

It's tarting to look like I was wrong. He may have a role as a defensive stopper in the right circumstances, he's been really impressive the last few games. Love his work rate and attitude.

I'm about to be a Cavs or Knicks fan for the remainder of the season. This is straight garbage I'm watching. My god we suck. You can expect the same exact results every single night with this team. We have zero spacing right now, no shooters and nobody to take the heat off of Maxey. WTF is wrong with Tobias Harris? He has been terrible these last three games. Downright terrible! Paul Reed...AWFUL!, Kelly Oubre = Bum. This is a team full of bums.

Springer is a bright spot at this point. Otherwise lets end this nightmare. Nurse just needs to roll out Smith and Council. Ridiculous that neither are getting any burn right now.

Well I was about to tune in when I saw the sixers were only down by 3 at half. I get distracted for a few mins and look and they are down by 20 . They say to always trust your first instincts....

It's very similar to the tank years. We would always seem to hang with teams for the first half and then get our doors blown off in the 3rd quarter and go into the 4th down 25. That's how this has been since Embiid got hurt. I wonder what Isaiah Cannon is doing right now? How about Hollis Thompson or Jakkar? Where are they at? Is James Anderson still playing somewhere? This is awful!

Lester Quionnes cooking KJ Martin is enough for me. I just can't do it anymore. Only reason I'm hanging around at this point is to see Terquavion Smith and Ricky Council.

We have enough talent on the court with maxey and harris to be competitive with a mediocre warriors team. Stop making excuses for Maxey he has not been good for three straight games. He isn't dame Lillard or Devin booker yet. Paul Reed sucks by the way do you homers understand that yet lol.

The Sixers were never supposed to compete this season. They operated in the summer like they expected this to be a throwaway year. Then Embiid was having like the best season in modern NBA history, Maxey upped his game even more, Oubre actually played like not a bum(for a little bit) and the Sixers patched together a productive season, but it was never sustainable. Once Embiid went down, that was it for the season. And given they clearly never expected to compete at a championship level, it's why it doesn't make sense for them to be trying to make all these trades by tomorrow.

This isn't the year. And Kelly Olynyk is not going to save this roster with Embiid out. This is contrary to their entire summer plan. The only explanation is Josh Harris made demands, or they promised Embiid they'd try to win to keep him happy and feel beholden to that promise. But strategically, going out in the next 24 hours and making multiple trades is the completely wrong way to go about this. Ride it out with your roster, and let the chips fall, preserve your picks and cap space.
