Welcome Cam Payne!

Since there hasn't been a thread started for him yet, figured I'd do it. Solid pick-up along with a second by Morey for Bev. Will provide more shooting.

We’ve been in Pain for some time now so it’s nice to put a face to the name.

After losing Bev, is this the least enthusiastic pick up in sixers history? Lol

We have a Hurts on one team and a Payne on another. How fitting.

He can dribble, he can pass, and he can shoot. Something no one else on our team besides Maxey can do lol.

Yeah I don't mind him at all. I wanted him back in the late offseason when Phoenix axed him. He Lou Will lite...Even kind of looks like him. Payne is a much better scorer than Patrick Beverley. I hate to see Beverley go, but Payne is an upgrade on the offensive end. He can hit threes and he can get to the foul line. I expect him to get some decent minutes here. He's hitting threes at almost 40%. Between adding him and Hield we've improved our three point shooting by a lot. The guy played about 20 MPG on some pretty good Phoenix Suns teams for a few years. I don't think this is a bad addition at all. He's got a lot of experience and he's a smart basketball player. Obviously his defense could be better, but that's not why we added him.
