I hate it for him and obviously hope he’s okay, but it’s a little morbidly funny that out tiny 38 year old hometown guy comes home, plays 8 minutes, then catches a screaming tomahawk elbow from a 7’ 270lb center to the face. It’s so uniquely Sixers that I can’t help but find humor in it.

I’m sure the medical staff is treating him by stuffing the wound with sesame seeds.

I still don't get the Batum on PGs thing

Batum can switch in the two-man game, he also has the length to bother Brunson in his mid-range game once he gets into the paint. I think he's going to play a big role if we ever face the Celtics, where he'll spend a lot of time slowing down Tatum, which seems to be a good matchup on paper.

I still don't get the Batum on PGs thing

Batum can switch in the two-man game, he also has the length to bother Brunson in his mid-range game once he gets into the paint. I think he's going to play a big role if we ever face the Celtics, where he'll spend a lot of time slowing down Tatum, which seems to be a good matchup on paper.

But he can't stay in front of quick guards. The guards just create enough space with their speed to get to their spots before he does.

I can understand him being deployed to slow down any of the Celtics because speed won't play a factor.

Tobias and Reed at the 4 and 5 are outsized by the double big lineup of Hartenstein and Achiuwa. Plus, the Knicks still have Hart, who also plays like a power forward.
