I hated to see him go, but paying him would have sunk us. Paying George will do the same. Again, I look for Morey to play the trade market, I look for us to keep our draft pick, and I think our spending in free agency will be moderate, yet effective.

Harden was a good fit because in paper and in a lot of times, although not everytime, he can be an engine of the second unit, which is really important in those non-embiid minutes

The Celtics made 75 threes in their 5-game series.

These playoff games tend to gravitate towards close endings.

The Celts don't have a clear alpha who can consistently win 1v1 battles, as Brunson and Ant Edwards have demonstrated in this playoffs. The only way for the Celtics to avoid close games is by attempting and successfully making a lot of three-point shots.

I was wrong about regular season Haliburton but absolutely dead on the money about playoff Haliburton. Dude can’t get a clean shot off with that form.

We need to get a high seed next season, the league is making teams pay for all the load management stuff

Knicks can beat the Celts if refs would continue to make these games gravitate into close games

Their top four are going to be averaging around 40 mpg each for the playoffs by the time they get into the series. The wheels will fall off soon in typical Thibo fashion.

So Gobert wont play game 2. These gamblers all poured money for the Nuggets.

Nuggets now down big, but who knows

The refs are allowing too much physicality from this game.

Ten years from now, we'll look back and say that the league started to lose integrity this season. The league had better hope that these dramatic finishes and heated moments will overshadow that.

I’m so jealous of these teams with size, length, and athleticism.

Interesting that in mid-season such a drastic 'change' is made in the way refs will call games. It's almost as if it gives them even more leeway to 'miss' calls here and there, but that would be far too cynical, right?

If Turner's screen was illegal, then there should be 20-25 illegal screens called in every single NBA game. To make that call in that situation is way beyond questionable. And not overturning Nesmith's 'kick', even after reviewing it? They essentially took two possessions away from the Pacers in the last couple of minutes in a tight playoff game. Hard to win that way.

Surprise, surprise, the Knicks continue to benefit.
