Unfortunately, I feel like either George or Butler would completely fall apart after 1-2 years of joining us.

If we go the big $50 mil contract route those guys would require, we’d only have $15 mil left assuming we terminate Reed’s deal.

I have a weird feeling Ingram would be bad here. We’d be mad he doesn’t shoot enough 3s, etc. I think he would come off as passive to this fan base.

Siakam + Butler is abysmal spacing. No shot Indiana is letting Siakam walk after the trade for him.

Throw the bag at Mikal/Lauri (4/5 1sts) and sign one of Lebron/PG/Jimmy to the max.

For me, Bruce Brown would be one of my priorities.
The other would be to go all in for Markkanen or Mikal Bridges, with the multiple picks we have.
Another much needed addition would be to have a decent 5 to rest Embiid.

That would be my plan. Let's see where Morey goes. It scares me.

I don't think the Sixers should bring anyone back. Oubre is not good. Isn't a good shooter, has some athleticism, but you can do a lot better. Definitely don't bring back Lowry. He's washed. A whole new roster next season except Maxey and Embiid.

This is the first day after elimination I actually feel like the team is on an upwards trajectory. The last 5 years I felt like we were at some paper mountain top staring down the road at an underwhelming offseason met with lateral changes.

He’ll still probably end up signing PG13 to a $200MM contract where we go from Tobi to a 40 year old PF with maybe one decent year left in him.

If he somehow shows restraint, I’d love it if we went for a younger forward. Honestly I may prefer Durant to PG at this point.

I fully expect it to happen, but going “star” hunting and leaving this team without depth and good role players is the worst thing Morey can do this off-season. I’m more than willing to live and die with Embiid and Maxey as long as they have the right pieces around them. Try to build a cohesive team that can grow together for once.
