Benching Lowry was key. Need to play bigger with Batum instead. Helps our rebounding and shooting.

I would even try Hield again instead of letting Lowry torpedo our offense.

Let me also say, for as much as people say Batum is old and ****, he has played the best defense on Brunson.

Not only he force the bad pass on OT but he also blocked him after the Maxey 3 to sent the game to OT.

I give Embiid credit for sucking it up and making some big plays in OT but he cant be turning the ball over 9 times. 3 or 4 were during a stretch mid fourth quarter where he looked like he basically checked out. The Knicks are basically down to five non centers they can reasonably play any minutes. We should be able to beat them. It would help if McBride would play like he normally does, against everyone but the Sixers, which is slightly above replacement level. Its ridiculous how well he is playing.

Agree about benching Lowry this game. And Nurse is again superb in adjusting quickly.

Melton also didnt see the court in today’s game. I thought Melton was one of the reason why our non-embiid minutes sucked in G4

I’d probably still start Lowry, but be open in playing more Batum minutes and also be open in again letting Hield get some burn.

Its sad Buddy can't even get on the court in these games. He is going to be be getting a gigantic pay cut this offseason. Melton is a sad story he was having his best season when he got hurt.

He is old as sh*t . We are the same age lol . I know it's the little things, and he has done a good job at that. But the fact that the sixers are heavily relying on him and Lowry as senior citizens (lol) is partly why we are down.

I was never a Hield fan but I didn't know he would be this bad...

It's also funny because I wasn't a huge fan of Covington and Melton either because they are obvious tweeners but I know they atleast have some value as defenders. If they were healthy this series would be much more even in the physicality and defense department. They are two guys with above average length, toughness and defense we could of used..

Hahaha! Thanks bro!

We need the support of individuals who aren’t too sensitive to on-court violence.

Two games to go!

If there's anything we got from this season - we got the future. Tyrese Maxey. I'm now okay with any outcome of this series.

As much as I love Joel, he doesn't have what Maxey has in big games. No quit, take it on himself, find the way, no matter what. Relentless. He IS THE FRANCHISE.

I know his minutes were bad in this series, but he didnt play much. Lowry also had bad moments and he is playing a lot only because Nurse loves him. He is not fair.

I would prefer more minutes from Hield and less for Lowry, our offense is worse than our deffense, give the guy other chance

Oubre also made some big shots with his cuts to the basket, one of which was that pass from Batum in OT, and the other was when he quickly scored almost falling to the floor in 4th.

Embiid also made an and-1 runner at the 1:40 mark. If we can have Embiid playing good defense, rebounding well, and being a plus on offense, that could be the biggest difference-maker in this era of the process. He just needs to learn how to pace himself. I think fewer foul-baiting drives will allow him to have more energy on the defensive end.

Overall, we just have to watch the tape and figure out how to clean up those turnovers and easy baskets we gave up down the stretch. Then Embiid has to keep taking his 'pacing' to the next level; that’s going to put him on the same level as guys like Jokic and Giannis in the playoffs.
