I don't want a rotational swing man. There's a reason he's dropping. He's the next Rodney Carney. And Jennings is the Rondo of this draft

Let's reverse our 2006 decision and pick this yr's Rondo(AKA:Jennings)

Well, right off the bat, Derozen is one of the more solid bodies in the draft. Rodney Carney is stick.

But I agree, Dorezen would be a rotation player on the Sixers given our current roster layout.

If we're really talking about dealing for PG's then I think TJ Ford is hands down the best option available if it's true that he's being shopped. The kid has lights out quickness and is a true warrior. I know that he's got some injury history though and that needs to be considered. Still, of all the available PG's out there, I'd have to go with him.

TJ was at his best when he ran a two-man PG tandem with a more conventional set-up man that can shoot like Calderon.

He isn't a good PG and isn't very durable when he goes out there as THEE man to run the show.

Warriors offered something stupid: Azubuike, Biedrins, 2009 2nd LMAO

For Sam, Thad and 17.

Biedrins IS a Sam clone. So this is Thad and 17, let's assume Jennings. FOR AZUBUIKE?

Lol.

Biedrins is NOTHING like Sam.

Biedrins shoots 60% from the field EVERY year.

Biedrins is a double-double machine.

Biedrins offensive rebounds better than anyone in the league.

I still wouldn't do the deal, but Biedrins is a solid blue-collar NBA center without an ego.

And his contract is awesome. He is locked up for the next 5 years only making $9 per year with no incline.

Was this a serious statement?

Posted this in the draft topic, but Jasner said if the Sixers' top 3 guys are gone by 17 then look for them to trade down for Collison.

Wish that would happen... He was who I wanted us to get last year. Portland seems to have interest in Hinrich, and they have Roy cemented in there as well so it makes sense. What could we offer and would it be enough? Could we somehow offer Miller?

Chandlers the better player imo...and doesnt come with the baggage of a bad attitude.
If i was the 76ers and saw this deal, i might be quick to call PHX and say hey well do Sam for J-Rich or Sam plus a future protected pick for Wallace... doubt it tho.

then again, with Shaq coming to cleveland, KG and Perkins in Boston and Dwight howard in ORL, we really need an actual 5 that can somewhat defend these cats....as bad as sam and his attitude are, he does a decent job when out there with them.

we could offer Miller...BUT i dont think the salaries would match up unless Miller took a paycut.
Plus if Portland lands Hinrich, why would they want Miller?

Im on the Bibby bandwagon...find a way to get him here...he makes ALOT of sense
gives our rookie time to grow into the role, knows the offense and how it works, can shoot and run the team.

Yeah, I'm on the Bibby train as well. A lot of teams are getting better right now... the pressure's on Ed.

I don't want Bibby. Man, I can't stand that guy. His game, his personality, everything about him.

Do you guys really wanna try to keep up with the Cavs and Magic though? We won't catch them. I actually think the Nets could be better than us next season.

i think one thing sam does have to his advantage is his health, he is almost never injured. Chandler has been banged up before

we need to land hinrich... keep sam, we have to now with shaq and howard in the east... we now match up with orlando better now that shard will be sliding back down to the 3 when they lose hedo...

if we have a starting 5 of:

hinrich
iguodala
thad
brand
dalambert

that team can compete with the other top teams in the east as long as we dont give up too much for hinrich... thats a great defensive team, hinrich is a good 3pt shooter, thad and iggy are respectable with the 3, we have kapono coming off to add shooting which we didnt have last year... we might not be championship caliber, but much better than anything else people are proposing .. aka (thad at the 4 and brand at the 5)
