Agree on adding RW&B trim instead of the blue shiny crap. And blue bordering around the white SIXERS and number would be nice...

... I just described the 82-83 jerseys huh. Why can't the Sixers get a clue, just bring the old jerseys back!!

Anybody think they just hired some crappy designer to save some cash??

I don't think they're all that bad. A few years ago they were worse. What concerns me more is that Jrue looks...well...sad?

i like the new jersey althought isn´t the true retro jersey, but is OK.

i dont get why they didnt just go back the old jersey. It's like marketing wouldn't have gotten paid or something if it wasn't a new idea

The lettering actually bothers me the most. It looks amateur, like some spelled it out with sports tape because the manufacturer forgot to write "Sixers" on the front.

Unfortunately, if we're seeing pictures that means they already have them made for the whole season so we're probably stuck with these until next year.

They are not horrible, but I would have gone with the blue bordering around the Sixers lettering (like the Dr J one) and left off the neon blue ribon on the collar.

They are not Sean Bradley bad...

Bring back Toney, Cheeks, and Richardson.....Moses...Doctor....its depressing what a dropoff in talent there is from that team to the current team.

Why so negative before we see what team ends up being on the floor at the start of the season? Jrue could be the next Chris Paul for all we know at this point. If this team gets someone to play the point I feel they have a chance in doing better than last year. This team still has lots of room to develop into a Finals team. Let's give it some time before we go being so negative.

Is it possible that these are alternates? I could see the Sixers going with something like that for the alternate. The Classic Home Jersey they wore last season (and presented Jrue with) was much truer to the original, which would lead me to believe that they would stay consistent and not make many changes to the '83 Away Jersey.

Actually, the new red jersey with blue trim looks very similar to the alternates from last season. Check it out.

Different era's. salary cap. expansion.

Nobody is going to build talent like they did in the 80's.

Oh come on, the jersey isn't really that bad. I mean I couldn't care less what they wear as long as we can get pass the first round this year. If they manage to do that, I wouldn't mind if they play in their boxers.
