It would be kind of cool if the Home and Away jerseys were different, with the Away having a modern look, and the Home being the classic '83 Whites (if we are to believe the jersey pics we've seen thus far). That being said, I'd rather go 100% classic.

Yeah, I agree with you and Lapinski. The border around the lettering and numbers looks classier and more professional:



I don't mind a little updating (maybe blue tubing instead of white on the sleeves?), but they should have kept the blue border around the letters and numbers. Seems like an obvious mistake IMO.

Keep in mind that some of these Rookie photo shoots have "unofficial" jerseys. Flynn, Ellington, and Love last year had Wolves jerseys that looked absolutely horrible. Granted the official Wolves jerseys aren't a fan favorite across the board, but the rookie ones were a joke.

The font is shorter, the fit on the collar is really wide, and it is stitched poorly on the unofficial one.

The point is, they could have quickly put together this Sixers jersey for the photo shoot, before the official one is ready.
