LOL! Sixerbond must be Tony DiLeo himself with that type of knowledge he's spreading.

Wow I figured there'd be a drop-off, but I thought night 2 would end up being around 15,000 to 16,000.

So basically the Sixers signed AI got a spike for ONE GAME and that's it...

In fairness that's a Wednesday night game. I'm sure the Rockets game will be higher than 12K.

By the way...looking at the stands...that sure looked like under 10K there to me.

Can't disagree, but Monday vs. GS is a tough sell.

And Wed. vs. CLEV would have been close to/or a sellout anyway.

I thought the same thing, though I guessed 17,000 beforehand. Was shocked at the drop-off of 8,500.

Talked to Ed Stefanski this afternoon on the phone. Asked if Eddie Jordan's job could be in jeopardy, Stefanski said: "No. From top to bottom, we all have to get better. A win would help tremendously."

I said some fans are not happy with Jordan. "I’d say the entire organization is not happy with the way we’re 5-17. We had hoped to do better, but we’re working hard to correct the problem. Everyone involved, from me on down, has to get better."

He's bothered by the 3-point defense. "We’ve done a very poor job stopping 3s. It can’t happen. Our defense must get better overall. The bottom line is we’ve got to get better."

Thanks, Tom...

"The bottom line is we've got to get better."

And, Ed, what if you don't get better?

You don't get better without filling the holes. We DON'T have a two guard. We don't have a legitimate back-up swing.

Just trade Iguodala and try and get a top 10-12 pick for him. With two top-15 picks(one in the top-5) and another early 2nd we can get loads of athletic young talent.

I'll feel better with those young kids led by a real professional like Brand.

Tom, if EJ's job is safe, I can only assume that EJ has some photos with Stefanski
and Tiger Woods doin some of that " Brokeback Mountain " stuff

And as for John Wall, well it's not an isue cause we probably won't win the lotto.
But IF we do, Wall won't be a sixer. He's another Bayless type of college player who
is JUST a " Chucker " No way is he Jrue Holiday. And he's not a Lou Williams..( At this point )
either. He MAY, nad I say may be a good player in time. But Wall is NOT in any way a " Franchise "
player. Sixers will take a pass on him, and draft a player of NEED! Time will prove me right.

11 fga and 56pct. shooting with 7 APG = Chucker? OK if you say so.

Translation? "I will go down with this ship, I won't put my hands up and surrender.." By the way, I hate that song.

Totally random question, i was under the impression at one point, that we had 2 second round picks this year, but couldn't find any draft site that had us with a 2... so, i'm probably wrong, but anyone know for sure?

One is ours, one is conditional. Whether that condition is being fulfilled or not is unknown.

I hate conditions on second round picks, most never amount to anything unless you put all your time and effort into the prospect.

I take "top to bottom" as meaning he's not in a position to fire Jordan- if things don't turn around ES will be the one to lose his job...

Um what?

Hes averaging 19pts, 7asts, 3.8reb, and 3stls per game while shooting 56% fg, 81%ft, 36%3pt.

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/player/pr ... erId=45885

Hes 2nd in all of college basketball in asts and shooting 56%. how does that equal chucker? Willie Green is a chucker, John Wall is a star.

The sixers getting the #1 pick and passing on John Wall because we have Jrue and Lou would be like the Clippers last year passing on Blake Griffin just cause they had Camby, Kaman, and Randolph. You dont let talent like that slip away just because it may not be a direct need.

But what's the difference between Jrue and Wall? IMO, it may very well be minutes and confidence, neither of which Eddie Jordan gave to him until it was a necessity to do so.

Eddie Jordan is on a long list of names of assistant/college coaches who quite frankly can't cut it in the NBA.
