And the Grizzlies having been playing above .500 ball lately(at or near .500 for the season, haven't checked but they bounced back since A.I left em). That is as big of a mark on EFJ as anything, that a team can be worse then they are defensively and still win games.

Am at practice with the curtain closed. Sounds like Sixers just started working out, based on all the bouncing basketballs.

Tom if you get the chance later can you please ask Jordan why brand is coming off the bench if the current lineup is horrible at D? Lou + Iverson + Young in the same starting lineup = NO DEFENSE.

It's all about offense. He likes smaller, quicker lineups, similar to what he had with the Wizards. He also believes Brand is better suited to coming off the bench.

His 'beliefs' and 'gut feelings' obviously aren't working...

Don't think Jordan thinks Brand is quick enough to defend quicker 4s like Jamison, though Jamison had 24 in the second half against the Sixers anyway.

Oh well, this is the hand Stefanski dealt us, it's not the very least enjoyable but let's put up with it.

Could've made things alot easier on themselves if they decided to be serious about building a contender. The C's are over the tax, the Lakers are over the tax, how hard can it be to hire a legit coach for a basketball team in Philadelphia?

We haven't been over .500 since 2004(when we finished 43-39 with Jim O'Brien). That's the last time we've been .500. And that's coming off the Webber deal.

Ironically, since that time we've raved about our young guys. One hopes that Jrue, Lou, Speights, Thad are a better core then the Iggy, Daly, Korver, Green core.

Tom, does Stefanski ever make himself available for questions or interviews? I'm just curious how he feels about his 80mil investment not being on the court when the games are on the line. Generally I feel GMs are hands off when it comes to the coaching of the team but Brand is his one big splash and Jordan is making it look really bad right now.
