Stoudemire: 5.1 fouls per 48 min
Speights: 5.8 fouls per 48 min

not a big difference

Let me know next time one of them averages 48 minutes over a season and then we can start comparing per 48 stats.

Stoudemire 1 rebound last night against the Mavs. 1 rebound! Lets trade for him.

Speights by himself over Amare. I don't think Amare is that great. We can trade Iguodala without Speights.

Considering Iguodala is at the least only a slightly worse overall player than Amare, and that Speights should also at least become a poor man's Amare, then the answer is easy...

Ever since the rumors started rocking Amar'e has been noticeably affected. If you want to know what you would be getting look at the past month and a half. He was averaging 22/10 on 55% shooting which is not too shabby.

Supposedly the Amar'e/Jrich for Iguodala/Brand deal has some legs, we sha'll see I suppose.

Interesting comparison:

Remaining salary after this year (when Amare opts out):

Iguodala + Brand: 108M
Amare + JRich: 15M

So I see 93M reasons why Saver would never consider that trade.
