I've read somewhere that Modric said the Croatian team took exception to all the " it's coming home " sounds.
They felt underappreciated and underestimated.

We were magnificent the first half apart from our attacker's shooting. Could have gone in 4 up and should have gone in better than 1 up. Croatia were far better than us in the second half and deserved their equaliser. We played well in ET but Southgate was and is too stubborn to change things that are not working.

young was obviously being beaten all ends up down the wing later on and needed to be changed earlier. Kane was having a nightmare and should have been off in the second half, especially when we all knew that Sterling would never be able to actually score. It amazes me that everyone other than southgate could see that our attackers couldn't score and that we were killing the croatians with speed yet he didn't put on the deadliest and fastest striker in the prem. Vardy would have scored against that back line - it had Lovren in it for god's sake.

Mbappé must be licking his lips.

Hope the Croatians can beat France but doubt it.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders
