Feel the ref didn't want to give out a red so early in a WC game. But that was definitely a red imo. Like you said, he stuck his foot out. Argentinian player had a chance to chase the chipped ball and secure it in the net. Croatia GK knew this and took him out.

It's only a penalty AND a red if the defender/keeper fouls the other player without attempting to play the ball. Livakovic failed badly but I think he was genuinely going for the ball. Yellow and penalty seemed fiar.

Messi is dragging their best defender (Gvardiol) out of position constantly, so they are getting exposed. They’ve done their home work on Croatia.

Argentina fell asleep for a moment in that game. And the Dutch have a history be able to blitz and get gritty.

Not sure I'm confident in Croatia right here.

We'll see what changes the coach makes at half-time.

That penalty was a dubious decision, similar to the finals last year. The second goal is then result of a lack of concentration and sloppiness.
