Heck, I could argue he already is.

I think people don’t understand what a talent he is. Much better than anyone around him on the German squad

Surely you have better attackers than Havertz?

We don’t have anyone. Unless you consider Werner better lol.

Havertz is a good player but not a CF. He should be either false 9 behind a CF or OM.

Moukoko might be 2-3 years from now. But he is no CF either.

Grealish and Bowen best 2 on the pitch.

Spurs are a counter attacking team and Kane does fine. Southgate is just clueless and has no idea how to utilise his players.

Yeah, maybe Burkardt as well one day.
All of them are no real CFs, though.
Might make sense to switch the system to a two striker system at some point to be less predictable.

Kane just seems too slow to me. He's rarely snapping at heels, like Vardy. I guess he needs the backup of speedsters like Son for the counter attack. The England press was very very poor last night. Only Mount really seemed to understand how it works

Good choice to play Tomori and Abraham tonight, as they're accustomed to the Italian playing style and some of those players.

Good choice to play Abraham for whatever reason. England need a forward like him. Grealish hasn't been so good tonight. Maguire doesn't look good at all - are we so short of decent CBs, it used to be one of our best positions in depth. Sterling needs to get the ball more. Mount flattering to deceive again, but at least he presses. England need to pass forward when they are in the Italian half. Far too much passing back into defence when in a good position - Brendan Rodgers ball.

Yeah, lively game of football so far. Lack of cutting edge at both ends, Ramsdale made some good saves too.

I much prefer this shape for England.

Who is the creator for England? Who is the number 10?

Seems that game needed James Maddison.

And what is with the neat little triangles working it back to your own goalie when you need a goal?

My national team just lost to Luxembourg and Faroe Islands. I think it finally happened and we might be worst national team in the world, no hyperbole. What happened to out football is a disgrace, National team games aren't even televised on national channels anymore, it is absolute dead sport.

Maybe I am completely wrong, but it seems England is stacked at attacking midfield, but everything else arent that amazing, defensive line isnt anything special, keeper is average, mane striker - Kane, is good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Good team, but Brits probably overrate it quite a bit.

Maybe Southgate will get sacked before the world cup. That would be amazing.

Absolute comedy all around. England fans chanting "you don't know what you're doing".

He's now taken Saka off for Maguire. I can't believe it.

Potter, Pochettino, get anyone else in.

Get this fraud out of here, what a **** manager.

He’s really lucky he has credit in the bank because this is has to be one of the worst runs England have been on.
