Beautiful second goal from Barnes. He made the first too.

It's a good competitive game.

Unlike the loss of Real Madrid in the UCL yesterday, there was no surprise on the first matchday in this competition.

Wow, what a game between LASK and Ludogorets... 7 goals!

Very disappointing performance and loss for Spurs today in Antwerp to end our unbeaten run, but I have to give full props to them. They played so hard and defended incredibly well, you can see why they're top of the Belgian Pro League. In the future, hopefully this will be a reminder to Mourinho never to play Ben Davies at CB again.

I believe you intended this for the Europa League thread, so I moved it there.

Ritchie De Laet bossing the Spurs frontline was a beautiful thing.

We just destroyed what are a very solid European team with a makeshift lineup. Amazing.

Guess we're not looking to win this , dropping those 5 players and bringing the kids in. Or maybe it's another BR special - let's not attack until the last 30 minutes.

Only two games left in this group stage.
Hopefully the games in the next round will be more interesting.

Nice and easy first half.

Back 4 has been unworried, Barnes has been terrorising the defence and Under scored a beauty.

LOL @ Ajax spending 20+ mil. on Haller and then forgetting to nominate him for the EL.

Really? Wow!

Still what chance would they have against the Mighty Spurs, Arsenal and Leicester?

Chances are drowning every minute. Now their keeper Onana is banned for a year due to doping.

That said, the competition seems even less exciting than in previous years. The number of household names in the competition seems smaller than ever.
