Very poor performance by Villa, but lloks like to went into the game looking for a point to try and conserve energy, which very rarely works.

Certainly understand Emery trying to limit the exhaustion, as we have had a very full schedule with Europe and lack of squad depth.

Have to regroup now and try and get up for Thursday night in Greece. Will be a miracle if we manage to get through that, but there's still hope.

Chelsea & Liverpool and did us a massive favour and we have to win at least one of our remaining Prem games and hope City beat Spurs. Still plenty of twists and turns to come.

The current broadcasting deal is already much better than other ones such as in the Bundesliga where the last teams basically only get a third of the tv revenue that Bayern gets.

It was typical display of how bad Casemiro regressed, how poor is Onana at positioning and letting shots go in at near post ( two of those goals any decent keeper should save just by being in a right spot) and how inept is United's defense. Space and time they were giving Crystal Palace to attack was plain absurd. I know they had injuries but man this was something special to watch. Disgusting. Lucky they did not lose 8-0 or so...

Casemiro's defending in that game, along with Evans, was atrocious.

As if other clubs haven't experienced injuries?

A few years back, Liverpool lost its entire back four and still managed to finish in the top 4.

This year alone, Chelsea, Newcastle and Tottenham were ravaged by injuries at some point, yet all three are above Manchester United.

For me, if I was a Manchester United fan, I would have demanded Ten Hag out earlier. Think of all the undesirable records he's accumulated. By no means am I placing the blame solely on him. The players need to shoulder some as well. At least in the offseason one can fix both. From watching the club this season, I am not sure of what he's even trying to accomplish in terms of a pattern of play. And his comments in post-game conferences are mind-boggling.

I'd still take Casemiro on Juve in a heartbeat. Damn near everybody sucks on United. That club has turned into a black hole of mediocrity and shame.
Di Maria, Lukaku, Sancho all suddenly became "trash" when signing for the club, only to excel again once they left... Blind and Sabitzer as well. Amrabaat was perhaps the best CDM at the world cup and in Serie A, now he's been unwatchable.
Players should avoid United like the plague.

I have hope. Sell most of the players and hire a new coach. I wouldn't mind running a B Junior Varsity Team next year.

They just need a good reset like the new football front office we have. Also getting the Glazers out would be lovely.

Wow...what a finish to the Villa - Liverpool game.

Happy to scrape a point, but think we deserved more. Looked and sounded like the best atmosphere at the ground all season and they really were the 12th man in those final stages.

Phenomenal effort as we've had around 3 fit senior players on the bench for the last 3 weeks and the rest are academy kids. Players are out on their feet and deserve a lot of praise for their fight. Our Squad depth is not close to Spurs, United, Chelsea, Newcastle

Blew a couple of big chances, but it's still in our hands.

A draw or win at Palace and we are in CL (barring a 9-0 Spurs win over City).....Man City beat Spurs tomorrow and the Palace game doesn't matter

So do Spurs still have incentive to try to win tomorrow? Technically they could pass Villa, who escaped today with a point in the last minutes, if they win two matches and Villa loses to Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Men in Blazers guy said Spurs fans would rather the team lose than help Arsenal possibly win the title.

But the Spurs may still have the chance to finish 4th.

What would the players want, to try to get to the UCL next season or just finish the season and if not trying hard vs. City means Arsenal isn't likely to win the title, that works too?

Spurs could realistically finish 7th if they don't pick up points in these last two games. That should be incentive enough to try to take points off City.
