He was best defender in Serie A last year. Should go back to Napoli asap

PSG should take care of the tie at home though.
Feels like they had the better chances today.

PSG was inches away from leveling. It was anyone's game and still is

P$G has been terribly unlucky. Hit the woodwork quite a bit. Congrats to Dortmund

Football gods don't like oil money. I will take it.
This was it for PSG. Once mbappe is gone, I don't think they will come this close again to winning UCL.

If I was them I would collect all the best french talents born in 2004-2006 right now to pair them with Zaire-Emery.

Leny Yoro should be their prime target for the offseason.

Knowing they are operated by Qatar - they'll rather overspend for some older players like Kolo Muani again.

Cannot believe what I'm witnessing :o

Suddenly Real go from down 1-0 to up 2-1

Two quick goals from Joselu

I figured it'd be tough for Bayern when Harry Kane came out. Taking off the striker always seems to backfire to protect a 1 goal lead always seems to backfire these days

Bayern may have just had a valid goal taken away from them in the 13th min of stoppage time. Refs cannot be blowing for inch-close offside calls when there is VAR. shameful...I was thinking the same thing when they called Davies off earlier in stoppage time--although that one seemed clear-cut, there's no reason to risk it.

He was such a thoroughly mediocre player for Hannover 96 back in the day.
To this day I am still trying to figure out how in the world he improved to the level he is at now.

Harry is not allowed to win trophies.

Was a great match, hoping they would have allowed that late Bayern goal for more match.

Honestly, I think Bayern is screwed.
The current core of their squad isn‘t good enough to win at the highest level.
Players like Kimmich, Sane, Müller or Goretzka aren’t going to win another UCL if they are supposed to be the main leaders.

They bought too many players in the age group 23-30 (including Harry Kane or Kim) that are very good players but just not dominant enough for them to be true CL contenders (even though they almost made it to the finals) because they can’t financially afford the absolute best players in that age group like Haaland, Bellingham or Mbappe competing with mostly oil money.

The roster is already a mess and it doesn’t seem like it‘ll get better. They are going to pass on acquiring Wirtz again because they can’t afford him.

The only U23 world class player they will have left after this season is Musiala.
Davies is going to leave and hasn’t been great for a while.
Pavlovic and Tel are decent but I am not seeing absolute world class.
Wanner is another promising talent but it remains to be seen whether he will really turn out a superstar talent.

Now I am reading rumors like they are going to spend the annual budget of my team on Theo Hernandez as a replacement for Davies. And I am already shaking my head knowing that Lucas Hernandez didn’t work out at Bayern and his brother won’t either.

Their financial superiority will lead them to the top of the Bundesliga again sooner than later but their days a top contender for the UCL are numbered.

It's unbelievable how even with VAR Real Madrid still finds a way to get favorable calls. It's a disgrace what happened

The refereeing debacle sure has taken a lot of negative attention away from the Neuer blunder. It was something I'd expect from Donnarumma
