Martinez is such a don. Got to be one of the best penalty shootout GKs I've ever seen. And does a little jig to wind the crowd up.

Villa get through by the skin of their teeth.

Neverlosen streak continues. Tied with Juve now for longest streak ever without a loss.

He's incredible and absolutely adored by our fan base.

His Yellow for time wasting was ridiculous, as their keeper was doing worse and didn't get a yellow, but his reputation has Refs on edge. In saying that, his reputation for time wasting is undeserved. He's by no means the worst in the EPL and from memory, doesn't even rank in the Top 5 keepers for time wasting

His shithousery earns him hatred from other clubs, which is to be expected, but I suspect that all those other clubs would love to have him on their side.

Terrible performance by us in the first half, but fought back into it.

Ref was handing Yellows out like candy and didn't have a good game IMO

Only caught the second half but the way they just exhaust teams until they can capitalize if they can't score early this season has been insane. We could be watching the first undefeated treble.

Brunson: So what are you paid to do?
Hart: Run around like an idiot during the game and f*** s*** up!

I think they are going to drop a game at some point just because of lack of focus in the league now that they have won it.

Might be in Dortmund this weekend already.

One of the craziest games I’ve witnessed, mainly because the ref was so confusing throughout the game. Booking Martinez for time wasting when he had the ball to feet during open play lol, just cause the fans were booing him. Then booking him for asking for a ball to be placed on the penalty spot.

Anyway I’m happy we are edging closer to some silverware, got a tricky tie against Olympiakos now

Marseille vs Atalanta
Bayer Leverkusen vs Roma

This Roma team under De Rossi are peaking at a great time to face this historic Leverkusen team, but I think I'd have preferred them to meet in the final.
Atalanta "should" handle Marseille, but we shall see.

watching highlights... why was that a red card in the Roma/Milan game?
seemed like a yellow?

slide tackle from behind with zero attempt to play the ball, and even before he slid he attempted to stop Leao with his hand. I agree that yellow would have been fine, but at the same time I don't think red is incorrect.

Roma - Leverkusen should be a great matchup.
Mourinho's Roma managed to beat them last season, and Leverkusen will surely be looking for revenge. Meanwhile, Roma have been much better under De Rossi.

Atalanta should be favorites vs Marseille, which is uncharted territory for them in Europe. I can see them choking under pressure-- that tie seems up in the air as well as Marseille are much better lately than at the start of the season.

If I had to pick, I got Atalanta and Bayer going thru to the final

huge error from Roma in the back, 1-0 Leverkusen.
Atalanta and Marseille one goal a piece already too.

Fiorentina make the Conference League final for the second year in a row. Olympiakos are up 4-2 vs Aston Villa and will play today to see who advances...if this was Europa I'd be betting the house on the team coached by Emery, but who knows if his success will translate to the almighty Conference League

Leverkusen should coast to the final with a 2 goal aggregate lead at home today.

Atalanta-Marseille will be fun

Roma made a good game of it but an unlucky OG and a late equaliser preserves Leverkusen's run and sends them to the final.

Villa couldn't perform a miracle today and the better side across both legs won through.

We only had 11 regular outfield players to choose from today and started 5 defenders in a game where we knew we had to score at least 2 goals. Duran and Timmy Iroegbunam were the only bench players who've seen more than 5 minutes in a prem match before, so our injuries and depth has taken a toll in a long season for us.

No excuses though, plenty of good players on the pitch for us and just couldn't get it done.

Hoping we can regroup and we get Tielemans and possibly Zaniolo back for our last few Prem games
