“We’re hoping to bring him back first of all,” Vogel said. “We’re big on Ish Wainright, we’re believers in him.”

Re-signing Wainright is a real possibility. Because the Suns have one more two-way spot available, the team can re-sign Wainright. They can sign him to this two-spot if he clears waivers in the next 48 hours.

I voted right! Or at least who I thought should be cut was cut. I like Ish though so hope he gets more playing time in Portland. Keon's making some good money despite being cut.

We must expect a team to pick him up off waivers because he cost more to waive than Bol. Or we just really like Bol

Jones tends to let his decisions ride out for the season.

He didn't guarantee Wainwright and Johnson was salary filler while he signed Bol, Lee etc for the season.

I think I like what I've seen from Ish way more thay what I've seen of Bates-Diop.
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

KBD hasn't really been good in the preseason but he's certainly shown more in his NBA career than Ish.

I bet it's Ishbia that has a hard on for Bol because I can't imagine the coaching staff want to keep a super raw player around that won't get the minutes to get any kind of experience this season.

Oh no doubt. Bol to me is a basketball fan signing rather than a basketball professional signing. I love what Bol is on paper but in practice, it's a different story. And yeah, because it's likely an Ishbia signing, he's going to veto Bol trades.

I think there's also some hope that management thinks giving him practice time with KD might help refine his offensive game, which I think is a pipe dream. Plus sometimes you just need a dude with length.

The Philadelphia 76ers waived big man Montrezl Harrell on Monday, three days before the season-opening road game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

There is no guarantee that Harrell will play this season after undergoing surgery in August to repair a torn ACL and a meniscus tear in his right knee.

Guys they aren't cutting Bol and lighting like $5mil on fire just for some slightly better 14th man who also won't play.

Maybe they do something like that later in the year if a rotation player comes available and they need a roster spot. But right now I can't see it happening.
