I think our bench is not nearly as bad as many suggest.

Gordon
Little
Bol Bol
Okogie

That is a good 9 with the starters. Difference is energy, and Okogie and Bol Bol tend to bring that more than the rest of the team.

EG was pretty bad in this game though and at this point Okogie should attack the basket even when left wide open for 3. Shoots career low from 3 on wide open shots. Driving to the paint is more likely to bring a positive result(score, draw a foul, etc).

Could point to a lot of things that kick-started the Suns in this one but definitely want to highlight 9 steals between Durant, Booker & Beal.

The activity & disruption from the Suns Big 3 set the tone in this one.

On top of the steals, the Big 3 of Durant (6), Booker (4) and Beal (1) had 11 deflections between them.

Definitely I thought that they were playing with more urgency on defense. That's the way.

Without question.

There was a John Wall sighting in the crowd. Sat on the Suns bench side behind the basket.
And Biyombo got cut.

If we manage to get those two the Suns should become clear cut favorites to win it all. Prove me wrong

I dont know about that, I was just stating some active truths. The Suns could have signed Wall any time if they wanted him. He has publicly come out and said he would live to play here with his bro Beal.

Hooray for a win. I was ready to throw in the towel if we got whupped by the Lakers but this tease of a team is staying afloat, just.

I don't think we're far away from being a very good team, but upgrades are clearly needed. Get us some size and athleticism around the big 3

During the game Haynes said that he has heard that the Suns don’t feel the need for a PG because the want the ball on Beal, Book and KD.

Haynes said that the Suns are interested in adding an athletic wing. Not sure who can fit that description for a cheap price.

Beating a team below them in the standings who already beat them three times this season? It's better than a loss.

Lakers were pretty cold but something I noticed was our defensive rotations were more crisp. When helping double, the helper was able to get back to their man to prevent wide open shots all night.
There were spurts where we went back to ISO ball but not terrible.

I'd put this 75/25 for the Suns just beat them. I've been frustrated and really hard on this team, but this was a really good road win. Even without the bench doing much offensively, they did what they needed to.

As for the athletic wing, I saw Saddiq Bey's name thrown around. I'm not familiar with him though.

As for Chris Haynes, I still don't get how he got/still has his job as a sideline reporter. He's got to be the worst there is at his job.

If we continue to move the ball around like last night it would make our team more deadlier and unpredictable. Too much ISO especially when you have three ISO players on your roster is a recipe for disaster. Great win last night and I think that was our best game of the season even better than beating Twolves.

Most importantly everybody's healthy and played a role in blowing out the Lakers on their home court.

Yeah, I think his personality and positive attitude help to add a different dimension to the team. He makes the team a bit more fun for them, as I don't feel they were having fun. It's a bit like Bridges personality having impact, in addition to his (their) play.

Certainly looks like it. Now if he could only help his boy Goodwin with his shooting
