A lot more interest in Mavs Clippers game in two hours to see that Suns are not the only failed "superteam".

Nobody expected Suns will be down 0:3 either. Weird things happen.

The last time we were swept in a 7 game series was against against Magic's Lakers in 89 who won it all, but it was in the WCF in KJ's 2nd year and first full season as a starter.

We were swept in 99 in the first round in a 5 game series 3-0, in the shortened 50 game lockout season. But even the next year we got to the 2nd round and won a game vs prime Shaq's 67 win Lakers, with backcourt 2000, a rookie Marion, Googs and Longley. Oh, and 33 year old Cliff Robinson.

But 25 years since we were swept? And it was only in a 5 game series? And 35 since swept in a 7 game series, and it was against one of the best Lakers teams of all time who won it all with prime Magic, and in the WCF with a 2 year KJ? We actually knocked that team out in 5 in the semis the next year, and they were the 1 seed with 63 wins, MVP Magic and the defending champs.

So yes, this is the most disappointing season ever given expectations.

Man ishbia will contemplate hiring Vogel to coach this team for a LONG TIME.

Kenny, Suns fans prefer Isiah Thomas becomes our head coach. We are better organization than those Knick teams. He won’t make too many mistakes I bet IT learned his lesson. Besides he no longer will be a GM.

These are called enhanced memories. They are etched more deeply in our memories precisely because they are traumatic and overwhelming to us. Some fragments of a traumatic experience, then, can seem like they are “burned into” memory. This is how they are recalled.

It will be interesting to see if/when they fire Vogel, keep the same core, and it will not make much of a difference...

I couldn't remember the last time they were swept, but knew they were swept in the 2nd round in the WCF in KJ's 2nd year, but double checked to see if they had been swept since, figuring maybe they were swept in the late 90s with Kidd. I remembered they met the Shaq Lakers one of their great years, but didn't think they were swept even though they were dominated. I didn't remember getting swept in Portland in 99 though in the first round 5 game series.

I definitely have all the KJ and KJ/Barkley years etched, and moments in series in the late 90s with Kidd, losing to the Lakers, the Chapman shot against the Sonics (but losing that series) and then I didn't remember for sure after that until 2003 after they had missed the playoffs a couple years. It was Amare's first year I think, and he had a game winner as did Marbury against the Spurs and lost in 6. I remember that the Spurs never went more than 6 games on route to the title. I definitely have the Nash years etched, the 2013-14, and the years with Paul and after. The 2012-2019 years are somewhat of a blur. I remember the 2012-13 year was Beasley, Kendall Marshall, and those Amare replacements...and Gortat was probably still there...he had played with Nash in his last 2 years. Then after the surprise 13-14 season I remember the disasters with trading for Knight, then picking Bender, Chriss, Ulis, Jackson, Ayton, etc..but don't remember our final records those years...they were not good though obviously, thus the high picks.

Predictions about possible storylines after this game?

"Isiah Thomas helping Frank Vogel clean up his office"
"Durant thinking about his next chapter"

what you got?

-Damion Lee strongly believes that he’ll play next season
-Booker pondering an exit strategy
- KD is still a little cupcake without the Warriors
- Isiah Thomas likely candidate to be named Suns coach
- Saberestar still believed Suns could’ve won the series had Grayson Allen been healthy

Vogel isn't that smart. And seeing it's clear this will be his singular season in the valley, why should he care?
