JJ has a one track mind and he prefers signing/drafting 3&D finesse wings like Bridges, Cam Jo, Crowder & Jalen Smith.

While 3&D players are necessary on a team you can't keep going for these kinds of players, you absolutely need some physicality and athleticism which is a gripe I've had ever since we got JJ.

I guess JJ isn't really the GM anymore so hopefully Ishbia realizes we need more physicality on this team and tries to address it in some way although it is going to be almost impossible to fix this roster.

That'd be amazing if our front office considered this with a more open mind after reflecting on the nature of these playoffs. I honestly think that IF they keep the pick, then it obviously signals that there just isn't any good value that we can get back in a deal because nobody really wants Nurkic or Little. They don't want Nurkic because of his limitations getting severely exposed in the playoffs against size, speed, and athleticism which the entire league is transitioning to. And no one wants Little (at his salary because we didn't develop him or showcase him. And currently, he looks like a 7 million salary fringe bust. Hopefully, we could find a way to better showcase him (Little) and then flip him to some team for a 25' 2nd because that draft is ridiculously loaded!

But you're 1000% spot on as to our critical needs, and my hope is that Budenholzer will put a strong emphasis on this to reform our roster much better.

I said this a week or two ago when we got the data showing the refs not calling as much. And people like you have been railing on about our weak physicality for a few seasons.

Amazing that people get paid to do what we do here for free, and we also do it before everyone else.

The physicality is just another barrier added on top of all the things that stand between our roster and success, made harder to overcome given the current capped out mess the FO has made.

Clearly there won't be a trade with the SUNS

As we've said before there is always going to be a star available every now and then. If your team is in the market looking, you don't have to give up everything to make a trade happen. Just move on and wait for a better trade. Let some other team be the sucker. Well that was us. KD wanted out, even said he will only play for us, and we still folded like suckers.

If Ishbia even called Cleveland on this, Gilbert would be on video chat like......................

I wish Ishbia would get smart and realize KD is a bad fit on our team because he doesn't really want to be here.

If he realizes that maybe we could do a 3 team trade involving Trae Young, I don't want Trae here but maybe there's another team that wants him and we can include our 22nd pick and maaybe the 2031 pick depending on what kind of player we get in return?

I don't think "finesse" vs "not finesse" is our problem.

The craziest part to me is Pop still being so high after so many years of trash rosters and seasons.

Figures, my normally disappointing Suns and Chargers rank the same...

Don't worry, the Thunder are about to lose Game 6, and their front office will realize they need to pair SGA with another primetime scorer, so they'll take KD for JWill. :D

This would be a good idea but again don't trade that 2031 pick.

That should be used for another deal if necessary.

Why in the F is there all this mindless chatter about trading Nurk?! And for a ‘difference maker’… haha
We shouldnt have to find a difference maker with three $50million men on this roster. But yet we lack something…. Something other than a coach?!

I get it, with only 2 marginal assets to trade, and i shouldn’t classify Nurk as marginal, would be clickbaiters and wannabe Gmers are besides themselves on how to make this team better.

This is the ham that Pishbea strung up.

We wont get better by trading Nurk and picks… we just wont. We will get better when the collective $150 million me firsters play structured bball.

Im sure the MadMatter is realizing what a ****show he created for the off season. Just hope he doesnt get desperate and deal just to deal so he can give us all another rahrah look what i did interview.

Sign Oneal, keep everybody, draft a dude, make the necessary moves in Dec/jan. I hope we get stonewalled in all the trades ive seen proposed.

The last thing we need is this inept bunch to be shuffling guys around again. Havent yall learned anything yet?

For sure man! I'd actually like to see one of these 3 trades with O'neale (at around 14 -15 million) per year + the 2031 st. (NO MORE UNPROTECTED PICKS!!!)

1- On'eale/ PHX 2031 1st (top 5 protected) for Vanderbilt/ Woods?
2- O'neale/PHX 2031 1st (top 5 protected) for Caruso/Craig  ........... Yes, I said Craig, just for the sheer humor of it all!
3- O'neale/PHX 2031 1st (top 5 protected) for Finney Smith/ MIA 25' 2nd (protected for 31-37).

Magic/Thunder are hands down the best teams. They can offer the best return and extend KD.

They really don't have the very desirable assets to get a deal done aside from picks! Worst case scenario it might be something to consider, But it's not happening at all unless at least Isaac/Suggs/ 4 1sts are coming back to us. and that's being more than fair. Something along the lines of:

KD for Isaac/Suggs/ 4 1sts:
1- ORL 24' 1st (18th pick).
2- 25' DEN 1st (Top 5 protected).
3- ORL 27' 1st.
4- ORL 29' 1st.

And that's still selling low on KD! Who most likely wouldn't like going to Orlando anyways. This is going to be a long frustrating offseason.
