Udonis Haslem

Post#1 » by Suns_Fever » Sat Feb 2, 2008 3:53 pm

Since the Lakers got Paul Gasol, is it time for the Suns to start looking for a decent powerforward like Udonis Haslem.

Every year in the middle of the season we go out and get a frickin shooting guard(Jimmy Jackson and Tim Thomas), so will this be the year the Suns are smart and get a decent powerforward that can teach Amare how to rebound?

Well Tim Thomas isnt a great Power Forward So I put him as a shooting guard, cuz he mostly played outside.

I would welcome any move that brings Haslem here without moving Marion.

Haslem has been to the finals already and won a chip so he knows how to win when it counts.

Marion, Banks and Marks for Shaq and Haslem works but don't know if Miami will do that.

NO SHAQ. Are you people insane? He'd never manage to get past the half-court line before everyone else was already on their way back with either a missed or made shot.

I dunno why but I don't think Haslem brings the ingredients that we need to win the championship. He is a good defender but he's pretty short and won't be able to handle the better post defenders which is essentially what I would like from a PF (not just rebounding).

His shot is the other thing. I'll be the first to admit that I haven't watched him this season but the last time I saw him it seems like he needs quite a bit of space to get off his jumpers and he's only really good out to 16-18 feet.

For an undersized PF we might as well stay with Marion. He's only an inch shorter, is much more active, better range on his J and a better rebounder!

what are you talking about man?, in the playoffs it doesnt matter if he have speedsters on the team, we still get slowed down, even if we dont want to, just look at our last game vs. spurs, they make us into a half-court team, so does the mavs if they want and lakers, shaq is the key, he always kills duncan and the spurs.
