Nurk was big. AD was a non-factor most of the game, mainly doing damage against Drew. Grayson and Royce were huge hitting a lot of threes. Bol Bol had a good first half and not so good second. Still expecting a lot more from KD and Book. Suns won't play against such sorry D too often so they need to clean up those stretches of silly TOs and bad shot selection that are a real momentum killer.

But Beal would immediately be featured and not let the other team rest at all with the 2nd units. It’s the best of all worlds in my view and we could still close with Beal (and he would still play starter minutes).

Ginobili coming off the bench was critical for the Spurs.

Beal should 100% come off the bench...

Ive already seen enough...

We looked the best today we have looked all season long...

While I kind of agree with Beal coming off the bench, particularly if Allen and O'Neal could shoot like that every game, I think it's also important to max out our Big 3 in playing time while also being able to stagger in a way we usually always have 2 in the game. This allows Beal to check out early, and play the whole time Book takes his longer rests and KD and/or when KD is always out there. It's basically allows him to kind of be a 6th man anyway if he checks out pretty early and is able to come back in when KD checks out and stay when KD checks back in a Book takes his longer rest since he only takes two a game, playing in longer stretches.

IF the Pacers win to the Mavs (+7 at halftime) we will be 6th tonight.

Pacers showing how to beat the Mavs - let Luka get his and stop everybody else. Unfortunately Suns can't do the later.

Baring major injuries to Mavs players we are not getting past them based on SOS. Beating two other teams for 6th will be hard too. At least we have managed to get our confidence against Lakers back for a potential play in matchup.

the "others" were brutal, team works better when they involve others

of course, if "others" cant get it going, its understandable for the "big three" to play iso bball

keep giving minutes to bol bol, he can always add an easy 10+ pts off the bench

Quite frankly I hope this performance was due to Frank growing some huevos while chewing out the entire team about their lack of effort in Houston and most of the season.

This is the effort we need going forward.

I still would like to add Ish Smith prior to Friday.

Maybe we aren’t a 10 win team but it kinda feels that way. Majority of our wins feel like losses and our losses feel like wins at times. We have an awkward team this season GOK and only person to save this season is STEVE NASH!!! fire Vogel hehe

As a Coyote, Suns, Cards, Dbacks fan I have it worst than many other fans. I’ll never bandwagon but when my teams win I’ll party like it’s 1995.

Most definitely, playoff push begins when it truly matters.

Not to kiss your behind, but you are probably the only person here who tries to make sense all the time - like think before typing, and try to think logically.
I love Allen, he has been a huge part of our success this year, but having him start over Beal would be criminal, while some of our issues are wing defense and the volume of our 3 point shooting, and we have just traded for RON. He takes care of both, while Allen can be our 6th man of the year, while playing (roughly) the same amount as Beal and RON. The way you described there is the way we should change our lineups exactley. Have Beal come off at the 3-4 minute mark, get Allen in. Then you "just" have to work around the stuff that 2 of the big3 are in at 85-95% of the times. Not impossible at all.

Both Lakers and Warriors losing is great. Most important Suns don't fall below 8th place. Everything else I consider a bonus.

I get the argument for bringing Beal off the bench but nothing suggests starting the Big 3 doesn't work. Besides, it's not how we start that has been the problem, it's how we finish.
