We got rid of Ayton because supposedly his mid range game was conflicting with KD and Booker but then we go out and trade for Beal who also lives in the mid range and he has an albatross of a contract on diminishing performance not worth of a super max contract.

That's not why they got rid of Ayton.

That was one of the reasons.

Nurkic while he rebounds well is also part of the problem because he has zero touch anywhere if he isn't wide open under the rim and even then manages to miss his share of layups and bunnies. He's also a huge liability on defense because he's slow footed and can't keep up.

Nurkic isn't playing this game so the point is kind of moot but if you had a starter on this team getting double digits from high efficiency without running a ton of plays that really helps with the offensive load. Not having any bigs that can reliably score the ball inside hurts us in so many ways.

It's better for us not to even make the playoffs if we're just going to get blown out on national television in blow outs like this.

Just call it a season, get a better draft pick and decide if Vogel is the right coach for this team.

At least DA is helping us against the Pelicans. Player of April so far. He wouldn't be useful either in this team when he doesn't have the skills to get to the free throw line to stop the opponent's flow.
