MOTY:
Bigfoot! Congratulations. Lots of key acquisitions this year from the waivers and draft on top of 1st place made this a pretty deserved win.

MVP: Nikola Jokic (owned by bwgood). I think Shai lead most of the year but got hurt, and Luka made a late push, but by the end Jokic was putting in some absolutely massive games every day to win it comfortably. If you looked at the new hall of fame section in the spreadsheet you already knew he was going to win this.

ROTY:
Victor Wembanyama (owned by Terovibe). Dude can unseat Jokic next year as the #1 fantasy guy. That's how good he is. Again, if you saw the new section in the spreadsheet you already knew. Well, you didn't need to even see that to know

It's a good draft year if you are going to fall 1st to 4th. I mean last year would have been AWFUL. Nice to get the top of my bracket. Nice for the new team to get #1.

probably no point even posting this since lots can change (summer league, preseason) from now and our draft time in october, but for what its worth...

I think it's impossible to figure out what they do draft wise till the trade happens.

The Trae/DJM thing will handcuff their team till its done. One way or another. I think Trae gets a bigger haul and needs to be moved and that's what I think will happen. We'll see if I'm right.

Just an upgrade/star really. Preferably in their 20s. No interest in Smart/Middleton.

I think it's whenever. I made a trade like right after the draft lottery last year.

Doesn't seem there is a clear guy, or even clear top 3 though, so it's the year for it to happen.

Yeah 2025 is going to be a much better year. I do think Sarr has a chance to be a very relevant player though. Probably the clear #1 from a fantasy perspective.

Weird fit for Atlanta though. Center is like the 1 thing they don't need. Wonder if they pivot at 1....?

I said fantasy perspective specifically. But speaking in general now I don't know if they're in a position where they need to worry about fit. If they think someone is better than Sarr which is totally possible in a draft like this then yeah they can try to trade down.

But with regards to their roster I'm not sure they are even set at center. Okongwu is nice but it hit me this year that they might not be sold on him permanently at center because he is 6'8". Great player but at that height they may want a guy taller either off the bench or starting next to him just so you don't get bullied by big teams. Or you bring him off the bench for major minutes like they already do.

If Sarr can stretch out to 3 he's actually a pretty good fit next to Okongwu.

Good point on the size fit. They don't really know what they do with their team until they trade Trae or DJM.

I personally think your guy Trae is the odd man out there but it'll be interesting to see which way they go.

Trae ain't my guy anymore I "traeded" him to you

I also think he might be as well but he's the most valuable guy in Atlanta so maybe they just stick with him. But I wonder if these rumors are flying because GMs think you cannot win with a small guy shooting in the low 40%s with bad D.

That was kinda why I traded him 2 seasons ago  I was very concerned with what his stats would look like if he ever played on a true competitive team. Very interesting to see what atl does indeed. Though I still miss him on my team.

OO has shown he is not a starter at C (yet), and Capela isnt great. If Sarr has more upside and allows you to build around Jalen Johnson and the future, why not- especially considering the rumblings regarding Murray and Trae.
