Quite a few posters will wake up this morning still feeling miserable about the Suns pulling that one out last night.

Our perimeter defense is just awful - I'm not sure we can survive with Grayson Allen starting at the 3 against any semi-contender. Desperate need to add some athletic wings on this roster.

If they play that same defense the last 4 plus minutes of the game against the Kings they can beat anyone

Very very nice to see a win over a team higher in the standings. That's been extremely rare. Hopefully it's a new trend.

See what happens when you shoot 3s, take it to the hole and play with energy, focus, intensity?

Looks like the Suns last night in the previous 3 1/2 quarters. The dog had been watching.

I'd like if the Raptors don't want Kira Lewis, that we can get him. Hopefully they buy him out. We need a young prospect at PG....or for that matter any PG.

I assume they want him, since they made him part of the deal.

I would assume either Kira or Dennis S are gone. They love Quickley and there's only room for 1 backup PG imo. I'd be fine with Dennis if they but him but it'd alot cheaper to buy out Kira.

Schroder has value IMO. If they bought out one, it'd be Lewis.
Now, if they DID buy out Shroeder, I would def go after him. Not sure his contract allows it. He makes 12.405mil
Also has 2 years left. Uncertain if the second is a team option.
Anyway, pipe dream. :)

Careful what you wish for. Some of these suggestions are sewer pipe dreams

Welcome back GoK? Haha

And that dog stuff..? Was that actually down time entertainment? This fn arena vibe is a GD circus. I despise the constant light show. The constant bangin music, the phony crowd noise. When I’m watching some feeds, they stay right there during the breaks. It reeks of entertainment desperation. Jeebus, it’s like they are marketing everything towards fn 16 yr old girls. Never a dull moment? My gawd… what a joke from the hokey suns dancers and the jackassing tee shirt cannon. Way too many distractions. We have to have the lowest arena IQ in the league. It’s plastic as hell. Kind of matches the team as of late, and certainly the owner. Now Get off my lawn.

Somewhere in the evening, there is a basketball game being played.

sashaturiaf wrote:Just a thought, is this performance enough for Vogel to abandon his default gameplan of slow it down defense first basketball. Our personnel are Ill suited to that style of play and I think our results to date illustrate that quite clearly. It worked for his Pacers and Lakers because they defended and rebounded at an elite level. Our defense simply isn't good enough to win that way against the better teams in the NBA.

Might be time to play to our strengths and let our opponents try to match up with us, rather than trying to hammer a square peg into a round hole.

I wonder how much of that is coaching and how much of it is Big 3. Beal is the least "slow it down" kinda guy of the big 3 but KD is prone to taking his time and the worst offender of the 3 is Book who for whatever reason, takes sooooo long to initiate the action. He is doing his "best" version of CP3 but doing it somehow even slower and more "methodical" yet doesn't always yield a good shot for the yield because of the time it takes to initiate the play.

So it could be Book or it could be coaching or it could be a collective thing but I sure do hope this massive 4th quarter gives them something to think about when it comes to how 4th quarters should be played.
