Maybe you’re right, but there seems to be no fluidity and consistency to our team. We already played 25% of the season and I’m not seeing any changes in the right direction. As of now I see the Nets winning by 3-5 points.

If we can’t win against a 45 win team with KD, Booker, Beal, Nurkic shooting 50%+ we are in for a rude awakening as the season progresses.

Yeah, I’m not too worried yet. It’s hard to judge right now. I think EG and Allen unlocks the big 3. Having guys like, KBD and Little out there doesn’t help spacing at all. Who I’m keeping my eyes on is Beal. I don’t like how passive he’s been. Shoot the ball! I think they’ll figure it out. Nurk’s recent play makes me feel really good about the Suns.

Will need to get a backup PG and CENTER at the deadline/buyout market. I’m pretty disappointed in Eubanks. He started off well and has been really bad since.

I expect Bol Bol and KBD to be waived eventually.

They don't look comfortable because Kevin Young isn't running anything to allow it. You've got 3 top shelf offensive players and they're running ZERO FKN two man game ZERO. No rubs. No hitting cutters.

He's got them iso'd out along the 3pt line because you know spacing. Spacing spacing spacing. As you can see I've hit my limits watching this offense.

We have a coach who cannot hold the team accountable and seems to have no offensive strategy beyond begging the other team to double our stars. We have a bench of guys who either play hard but are idiots or just go through the motions. We have Goodwin getting way too many minutes because he at least plays hard consistently but he also chucks inopportune 3s off the side of the backboard in crunch time and wastes key fast breaks attempting crazy alley oops to our guards.

The first time we crashed appropriately for an offensive rebound the entire night was with 45 seconds left. The first time we looked like we had a gameplan was for the 3rd quarter and only the 3rd quarter.

The leash for this coaching staff and the players needs to be short. I want to see coaching or roster changes soon.

We were a 45 win team too. And we basically had the same record as them this year (1/2 game better, now 1/2 game worse).

We got swept by the Spurs earlier this year. I would not be that shocked at this point if we finished as the 8th-10th seed.

There are characteristics with this squad that have nothing to do with B2B's or the fact you don't think the Nets are bad.

Almost 25 games now dude.

I know. Gordon & Allen would have definitely helped in this game. The trio need to figure out each other sweet spots and what works and doesn’t work as the games progress. But, we only committed 12 TO’s tonight so that’s a huge win moving forward. Nets are good and should still make the playoffs.

Yup and the Spurs losses were against a scrappy Spurs team and the Lakers blown lead was against a great (at the time in like 9th place) Lakers team. We are supposed to be the 1 seed. That SHOULD be the expectation given the guys on this squad. We were favored pregame because we are better. This team just cannot help but spend half the game screaming at officials instead of defending, half the game tossing the ball directly to the opponent, or going one on one as the primary offense while having our 4th or 5th best offensive option take all of our key shots down the stretch. This is awful basketball and it's very okay to say it is awful

He was talking last year. Brooklyn has played the 10th toughest schedule and 4th toughest in the east.

Ignoring their SOS, they are on a 46 win pace right now.

And we don't use the spacing appopriately. Nobody cuts into the space or drives to the basket. 3rd quarter was the only time we did use it correctly

Not a promising start to the big 3 era. They looked like they were getting in each other's way more than they were helping free up each other.

I'm personally disappointed since I held onto the hope the big 3 playing together would bring us back to the heights of the preseason but I guess we'll have to wait. The season is still long andbwe have too much talent not to figure out how to play together, right ?

Eubanks is just a slightly better version of Jock. They can play well in spurts but if you need to depend on them to be starters you're going to be in trouble.
