What? He's insane. He shoots 56% from 2 and 43% from 3. I was glad with the way we played defense on him early. He couldn't get a shot. He's had over a 62% TS% for 3 years straight.

The talent discrepancy in this game is just too big. Plus they are shooting really well. With KD we'd be close or near even in talent, but it's just too much without him, especially if they are hot shooting and we are not. Kawhi is so big and long he's hard to guard, and George is long too. Those guys are just hard to defend, especially since both are 40%+ 3 pt shooters.

Led to open PG 3’s. I hate the way we guarded him. I can live with Kawhi trying to score on his own, which I know he’s capable of. Just like when we tried to double Luka in the playoffs, it’s stupid defense. Let them try to beat you and then adjust later in the game if it’s not working. Once you get the others going, it’s basically over.

Besides the first quarter we did come out and played a bit. Still not impressive but not as embarrassing as it was looking early.

I like Allen on offense, but boy is he horrendous on defense.The Clippers scored of ever isolation against him.

Bit disappointing we didn't come out the gate looking very good and only managed 20pts in that first quarter. Just puts more pressure to play really well the remaining 3 quarters and I think we did that but not quite enough. We outplayed the Clippers the rest of the way but going into the 2nd with a 15pt deficit isn't ideal and tonight, it was just a little too much to overcome.

I do think there's bright spots though. Book had a nice return to form, Bol putting together nice B2B performances, we fought back from 20 down with 9min left to make it a game and overall, I thought we played the healthy Clippers well (minus the 1st quarter). Didn't think we would win without KD but we fought valiantly

Yes that, to.I saw both things happening.Lue's a very good coach.He kept hunting Grayson any time he was on the floor.
