The Draymond, Klay, and McDaniels thing... and also the Grizzlies-Lakers. Glad to see players taking games seriously for the in-season tourney.

Clippers are 0-5 with Harde, squad fully healthy.

Silver sad Spurs don't play Suns every game so the league can hype Wemby as much as they would like.
Hali with 15a/0to - as close to CP3 as they come.
Good box-scores for Mikal, Cam, DA.

They arguably have a tougher task of integrating Harden into their team compared to us. They have 3/4 guys on their team who have always been on-ball shot creators and have been poor off-ball players. Harden has been on-ball his whole career, Kawhi has been a creator since he became Finals MVP, Russ can't play offball as shown in LA and PG might be the most amenable to playing off-ball but even he will take a bit of time to adjust.
On paper, they could look really good but in practice, they will take time and there's a chance it just might not work.

Gobert called Green’s choke “clown behavior.” Said he knew as soon as he heard Steph was out, he knew Draymond was going to try to get ejected.
Gobert on Draymond: “Every time Steph doesn’t play, he doesn’t want to play without his guy Steph so he does anything he can to get ejected.”

Spurs have lost 6 in row after back to back wins over the Suns. Really puts things into perspective.

Fcuk donkey, like seriously... he is one of the "good defenders" in the brucebrown mold, i ve always hated him and how he gets away with murder every night becouse otherwise he would have to foul out in the first quarter and then the refs just let him do whatever - i was actually very happy when he got tossed in the finals (although it made me a bit unhappy that the league only did that to polish LeBrons career)... but seriously f this azzhat - Gobert would smoke him in a fair fight... he is boxing fairly seriously in the offseasons as far as i know - so i would love to see this fakeazzwanabethugloudmouth challanged to a fight where his opponent is ready for him... he would either run away or get laid out - either would be fine with me

They looked WAY better last night. Denver actually got lucky going on like a 17-5 run to close out the game. Clips were up like 99-92.
Harden definitely needs to let Kawhi be the alpha though.

Yeah, 2 of their 3 wins are against us. They just lost by 36 to OKC. They lost to Indy by 41. To the Knicks by a lot. To the Clips by 40.
OKC and Indy are good. I was wondering last night if people would be excited to see an OKC/Indy finals. Not that it would happen...but those teams are on the rise. Minny looking good too. Hopefully we can take care of tonight since last night they had a late close game against GS.

I wouldn't be surprised if Wemby had the KG-like career (more talented, less rings) and Chet the Duncan-like career (way better teams, less flash, more substance and grit)

Funny you say that because I always thought, from early in their careers, KG was better and if their roles were reversed, KG would have a bunch of rings and TD wouldn't have been able to carry those TWolves teams by himselves either. Both were great players though.
I was thinking about them too, and how Chet is on the better team, but who might even be better than both right now, is Sengun. And their team is starting to come into their own too. Green playing better too. I think adding guys like FVV and Brooks helped their young guys flourish more.
Of course Wemby is 2 years younger so he will likely end up the best, but I also think that if he falls too in love with him jumpshot, he might not reach his full potential. If he was a good shooter he would be impossible to stop but he had a handle and could just basically drop it into the basket so often.
I think those 3 Cs will be rivals for a long time, and Houston and OKC might have the better teams. With Jalen Green, Jabari Smith Jr and Sengun those guys are good. And of course OKC is full of talent and picks. I like those team's other young pieces better than SA's. I like Vassell pretty well but not sure about Sochan and the other guys.

I actually thought Poole was going to have a great season this year. Was completely off there...

Not everybody can be Steph Curry, doesn't matter how much they want it.

Re: Around the NBA - 23-24
Wow, Chet Holmgren made a couple of mistakes on the previous 2 possessions and it allowed GS to get a chance to win, and Wiggins hits a 3 with 1.6 seconds left to take a 3 pt lead after an offensive rebound of a Curry miss.....
Then this..
Then this..

Re: Around the NBA - 23-24
Yeah that game was nutty. In OT, SGA hit like 3 middies in a row, made an incredible block on a Curry three that resulted in a layup the other direction.

watching these games tonight, we better figure out our ****. sure, if no for a few mistakes we could be 8-4 or 9-3, but a whole lot of other teams are in that range aa well. it is not looking at all like the west is tiered liike we thought it would be.

Re: Around the NBA - 23-24
Pelicans look tough. They have had a pretty brutal schedule too. They've already beat the Nuggets, Mavs, Thunder and Knicks. All their losses are to good teams. They have already played Dallas, Denver and Minnesota each twice.
They were looking really tough until they lost McCollum, which sucks for them because he was playing well, but rolling again tonight.
